CHAPTER 10

"Oh my gosh I'm gonna die," Pabagsak akong humiga sa couch habang hinihingal.

"Oh my gosh you are not, okay. Wag kang OA dyan bes ha. Wala pa tayong 1 hour na nag-jog sa labas no. Tsaka sino ba tong nag-aya kagabi na 'Bes we have to jog this off tomorrow', tapos ngayon puro ka reklamo," Have I mentioned about how Julia's not a fan of sugarcoating things? Maybe she even forgot that I have asthma. Good thing I'm kinda used to jogging, but that's it. Any other physical activity would kill me.

"You know how I love food and hate exercising," I glared at her. She's now wiping her sweat with a towel.

"And you know how I hate how you eat a ton of food and never get fat," it's her time to glare at me. I shrugged. "Yeah, just what I thought," she rolled her eyes at me and throwed my towel straight to my face. I giggled.

"Good morning girls. You guys are up early today," my Dad grinned at us as he was walking down the stairs.

"Good morning, Dad," I quickly got up and went to hug him. He kissed my forehead.

"Good morning, Tito. Nag-jogging po kami saglit eh," she awkwardly smiled and quickly gestured at her sweaty face nung magbebeso sana sa kanya si Dad.

"Oh, that's why you stink," Dad looked at me.

"I hate you," I pouted at him. Natawa na lang sila ni Julia.

"No, you don't. You're still hugging me oh," he pointed to my arms wrapped around his waist. I hugged him tighter.

"Ehem," we all turned to where the voice came from.

"Malapit na matapos yung niluluto ni Nanay Rose," it was Kuya. He's leaning on the door frame while sipping on his coffee. I noticed na nagkatinginan sila ni Julia, but they both averted their eyes from each other's.

"You really should shower na Max, ang baho mo na," and he said that with a straight face. Honestly, sometimes I want to punch my brother.

"Hah. Buti nasasarapan ka pa sa coffee mo kahit hindi ka pa nagto-toothbrush," I smirked at him. Muntik pa sya mabulunan sa narinig nya. I saw Julia trying so hard not to laugh.

"Max, nag-toothbrush ako, okay," he said nung naka-recover na sya. He's blushing now, probably embarrassed that Julia heard what I said. "Well, at least I don't smell like BO, even after jogging," he smirked at me.

Napanganga na lang ako. I was about to say something to him again when Dad interrupted us.

"Okay, that's enough. You girls go shower na so we could all have breakfast," Julia tugged me towards the stairs but before I turned around I saw Kuya's devilish smile at me. I rolled my eyes at him.

"Gahd! I hate how he's so childish sometimes, you know? Ugh. I wish I could punch him in the face right now," I said as I was preparing clothes I'll change with.

"But you love your Kuya so much. And you guys are cute when you're bickering. It looks fun as well. I wish I had a sibling too," Juls was doing the same.

"Oh trust me honey, it is not fun. Tsaka I'm here naman oh. I'm like your sister from another mother. Haha!" she threw my towel at me and entered the shower room. Pumunta naman ako sa room ni Kuya and dun nag-shower. Mahirap na pag si Juls pinapunta ko dito. Baka may makita syang hindi nya dapat makita. Haha!

"Tito, Kuya Josh, alis na po ako. Maaga po exams namin tomorrow eh," lumapit kami ni Julia kina Dad and Kuya who were watching basketball on TV.
