I know how to fake a smile

How to hide the tears in my eyes

I know how to to keep the pain inside

How to hide the scars on my thighs

Never notice or care

Don't wonder at my fear

Never worry or heal

Don't feel no guilt

I know how to be invisible

How to stop the truth from taking light

I know how to stay so thin

How to feed my demons from evil sin

Never hug or check

Don't grieve or miss

Never say you're sorry

Don't believe my struggle

I know how to slip away

How to end the broken road life paved

I know how to make it all disappear

How to lie perfectly without trying
