You whisper sweet words of kindness
Trying to share my pain
You won't let me lie
Not when you see through my facade
Tears slowly drop
Just a rare few
As it all tumbles out
Everything explained
You wish you could make it better
Be here to help me through
But so far away
You cannot see my damp cheeks
We talk and talk
I know you won't walk away
But still, I won't tell
Not of the water I cry
Instead I tell you all my problems
Smile through my pain
My mind cries in torment
But still you manage to make my heart smile
It's a twist I won't let you know
Won't let my despair haunt you
I will tell you all you ask to know
But not about the blurred vision with which I see
