its been 2 days since i came over, and i didn't write yesterday. i think i'm okay enough to write it down now.

the day after you left without speaking, i went over to your house. i noticed another car in the driveway, but i just figured it was family or something.

im so stupid.

i knock on the door, nobody answers, so i walk in by myself.

i didn't see you in the living room, so i went to your bedroom. i heard you playing your guitar and i figured you were writing more songs.

i peeked into the door and saw you playing your guitar. you focused on the chords and your hands stroked it like you'd been doing it since you were born.

but you weren't alone.

i left before you could notice me.

i ran to that secret pond back behind your backyard to think.
