First Kiss (A Rydellington Fanfiction)

RATLIFF’S POV

Four angry tigers stood on my front door, ready to attack. I could see their madness through their eyes. There was tension in the air, and I was motionless.  This were probably the last five minutes of my life.

 After a few seconds of cold and furious stares, one of them couldn’t control his anger anymore. He threw himself at me. He was beating me up so bad the pain wouldn’t let me think right. I didn’t even know if I was still alive.

His hands on my neck were starting to make me lose air. I thought about defending myself, but I deserved this. I didn’t have the right to fight for my life.

‘’Riker stop!’’

‘’That’s enough!’’

‘’We wanna kill him too, but this is getting a little out of control!’’

The rest of the tigers said while getting Riker off me.

It took me more than a few seconds to get back up. I’m pretty sure I had a black eye, bleeding lip and nose, and I wouldn’t doubt broken ribs.

Thank god the rest of the guys were able to control their anger, cause if they weren’t I would be 100% dead right now.

When I finally stood up, the guys were still shooting me death glares. I was a scared cat at the moment. They were waiting for me to talk, but I just didn’t know what to say.

This was the first time they were mad at me. I didn’t wanna ruin things with them too, they’re also my best frie--- oh wait, I already have. I forgot I broke their sister’s heart, for a moment.

‘’Guys, ‘’ I began, coughing a little

‘’I’m truly sorry. I know I made a mistake. I shouldn’t have kissed Rydel. I don’t know what got in to me. I guess the thought of that ‘’Ean’’ guy stealing her first kiss made me do what I did. I started feeling like something was burning inside of me. I guess I was just trying to look out for her. I wanted her first kiss to be perfect because I know how much it means to her. I couldn’t let that guy do what he was about to do. He was basically a stranger.  He couldn’t steal her first kiss. He is not the right guy for her. He is just not goo— I was cut off by a furious rocky

‘’Ha-ha’’ he laughed sarcastically

‘’And what makes you think you are the right guy for her?!’’

‘’What makes you think YOU do have the right to kiss my sister?!’’ Rocky said poking me on the chest with his finger.

‘’Look, I get it. She’s your sister. You might think no guy in this world is good enough for her. But you need to realize the fact that there are actually guys who care about her as much as you do. I get it, I really get it. She’s your little princess; you just want to protect her. But hey, she’s 20; this was eventually gonna happen, sooner or later. There’s just nothing you could do to stop it. She needs to live her life, and life is full of ups and downs, beautiful happy moments as well as heart breaks and rough situations. ‘’

‘’Ellington, we know that. And yeah, you’re right; we might be a little overprotective. But all we ever wanted was to prevent her from going through something like this. Our sister spent all night, locked in her room, crying her heart out. She didn’t even let us be there for her. Do you have any idea of what it feels to not be able to do anything for her? The most important girl in our lives was hurting and we couldn’t do anything. All we have been trying to do, all these years, was to not let what happened last night happen. Do you realize how guilty we feel? All this happened because we weren’t overprotective for a little while. She’s our only sister and we just don’t want her to get hurt. Don’t expect us to be calm, after all of this. Don’t expect us to be calm after our sister got heartbroken, after she almost committed suicide!--’’

‘’Almost what?!?!’’ I interrupted Ross, hoping  I wasn’t hearing right

‘’Yes, you heard right, Rydel almost killed herself’’ Ryland said loudly

…I was speechless, not really able to assimilate what I just heard…

‘’Ratliff, don’t you think that’s a little too much? Trying to commit suicide because she finally got her first kiss? It just doesn’t sound right. Especially because Rydel, has been waiting for this moment her entire life. Her first kiss was supposed to make her the happiest girl on earth. Yes, I know maybe she didn’t know how to deal with it, it was her FIRST kiss after all. But there has to be something else, something that made her heart break into a million pieces. I know her better than anyone and trust me, she wouldn’t be heartbroken just because someone kissed her, and she wouldn’t try to end with her life because she finally got what she’s always wanted. There has to be something else.’’ Riker finished making the tension come back

‘’Care to explain Ellington?’’ Rocky demanded
