He then started to explain how he got his hands on the jewel. Which is pure luck if you ask me.

After hearing all of his explanation, inspector Nakamori suddenly showed up. With a speaker in his hand, he started to yell at the crowds so that they don't gather around the aquarium.

"Old man, why don't I protect that mermaid?"
I said to uncle Jirokichi.

"Good idea! I heard that you're an MMA champion."
He laughed.

"Then... I'll be standing beside the tank."
I said.

I stood beside the tank, crossing my arm and leaning my body against the aquarium thick glass.

"I can't believe you chose a girl as a disguise."
I said, eyes closed.

"A girl?!"
Fake Sera said.

"She just don't have the breast."
I smiled awkwardly.

"So you're going to catch me now?"
He raised an eyebrow.

"Hey, it's not my job to do that."
I said, glancing at Conan.

I can see the smirk on his face got wider.

"I'll just point it out."
I smiled.

"H-hey-!"

"Guys! This person is Kid in a disguise! Catch him!"
I yelled out loud.

The security immediately ran after the fake Sera.

"I-if that's not Sera... then where is she?"
Ran sais as she approached me.

"In the male bathroom?"
I said.

"Male bathroom?"
Sonoko said.

"Kid mistook Sera for a boy. He probably used a stun gun since I believe she won't pass out by simply using a sleeping gas or pil."
I shrugged.

"The mermaid! It's gone!"
Inspector Nakamori said.

"That's because I took the turtle before he did."
I said, showing the turtle in my arm.

"You figured it all out before he even do anyhing!"
Conan said.

"I'm well experienced."
I smiled.

"Seems like that thief just got another enemy."
Inspector Nakamori said, trying to get the jewel from me.

"No no no, until we made sure that Kid is no longer here, I'll be the one that will be holding this turtle."
I said.

"Brat! I'm the inspector!"
He said.

"But what nee-chan said was right. We can't be too sure since we haven't caught Kid just yet."
Conan said.

The inspector clicked his tongue and went off somewhere to probably cool his head.

Just then, Ran, Sera, Sonoko, and Conan went to the toilet to accompany Sonoko. After a few minutes, I heard sounds like a door or a window got opened harshly.

"That's our cue. Kid escaped already. Let's go home."
I yawned.

Then the four of them returned and we went back to each of our houses.

"How was the show?"
Shuu asked as he cleaned the cups.

"Not bad."
I smiled as I'm scratching my knee on the sofa.

"You're not going to sleep?"
He said.

"Not yet. I still want to... stay here a bit longer. You can go to sleep first."
I smiled.
