Long past midnight
Water starts gushing
Been holding back all this time
Since last night passed
But the rocks are worn down
Barely made it through this time
Can't stay in control anymore
Not until dawn splits the sky
Then the water will dry
Hidden away by the heat of the sun
The world will see the rock's strength
Forget about the pain it suffers
No one will notice
No one will doubt
But tomorrow, long past midnight
The water will return, gushing
