@ShinigamiLoveApples and I had an interesting conversation recently. It led to this: (Don't ask)

"Do you like haggis?" Beyond asked Mello suddenly.
Mello looked up from his chocolate bar, startled. "What?"
"Do you like haggis?" Beyond repeated.
"I... I don't know. Why d'you ask?"
"Just wondering," Beyond said simply. "I nearly put haggis on spaghetti once."
Mello took a large bite of chocolate, then replied, "How did that happen?"
"I thought it was bolognese. Honestly!"
"How should I believe that?" Mello questioned, raising one blonde eyebrow. "After all, you are the guy that eats jam with his fingers."
Beyond's face went red as he stood up quickly. "That was one time!"
Mello chuckled. "Sure."
Beyond sat back down hastily, after recieving some alarmed looks from the other people in Starbucks.
Why were Beyond and Mello in Starbucks together? That's a story for another time. Anyway...
"It wasn't my fault I couldn't find a spoon," Beyond defended quietly.
Mello rolled his eyes. "Whatever."
They sat in silence for a few minutes, before Beyond spoke again. "Haggis Spaghetti sounds delicious," he said happily.
"A multi-million idea, maybe?" Mello asked, a hint of sarcasm in his voice.
"Yeah!" Beyond agreed.
"It's unusual... but still sounds like something I'd eat," Mello admitted.
"You eat things other than chocolate?" Beyond asked, surprised.
"Duh. They just didn't film me while eating anything other than chocolate. They said it would make me 'seem nicer'."
"Hm."
"It sure would have been a surprise to eat that by accident," Mello said, smiling slightly. "Or a great idea."
"Yeah!" Beyond said, excited. "We could sell it!"
"And make millions!" Mello responded.
"And sell them to unicorns!" Beyond yelled enthusiactically, earning a few more strange looks.
"In a variety of different colours! We'd have to paintball Near first, though," Mello said thoughtfully.
"Why?" Beyond asked, confused.
"Oh, sheep is in haggis, right?" Mello questioned.
"Yeah..." Beyond said slowly. "Oh, right! I get it! Because Near's a sheep!"
"Exactly," Mello confirmed.
"Oooh, the pink Haggis Spaghetti could be for Valentine's Day!"
"And there could be red, green and gold ones for Christmas!"
"We'll be so rich we'll have palaces on the moon!" Beyond shouted.
"Over there!" someone yelled, pointing at Beyond and Mello.
L and Matt sprinted over to Beyond and Mello. "Beyond, Mello, what have we told you about coming outside in the day?" L asked sternly.
"I mean, what were you thinking?" Matt asked. "You could have died, you could - you could have been seen!"
"We're sorry," Beyond replied sadly.
"Back to the institute - uh - I mean Wammy's House!" L ordered.
