stella's POV

i got home from work and kicked my shoes off.

i've been working at a froyo shop for quite some time.

i was surprised they didn't fire me. i was gone for weeks because of magcon and when i was at work i never gave my 100%. there's been many complaints about me in the past.

the place was a dump. i was one of the only workers who didn't bother to quit.

i grabbed the tv remote and turned on netflix.

before i could click on the hills my phone started ringing

every once in a while i would go on dates with shawn but i was pretty much isolated from the rest of the magcon boys.

i answered the call before looking at caller id

"hey" said a familiar voice

"hello??" i answered confused

"its cam" he laughed

i sighed and smiled

"i miss you!" i replied

"i miss you more.." he said quietly

"we should um hang out" he said changing the subject

"arent you home in chino?"

"no didn't i tell you i'm in ontario for a photoshoot?" he replied

"whaaaat! you didn't tell me" i sighed

"well it's not too late. i'm gonna come to toronto tomorrow you should meet me at 8 pm."

"where?" i asked

"uhhh.. meet me at that one mall by shawn's house" he was so foreign to this area

"ok is shawn gonna come too?" i said unsure

"i already called him but he said hes taking extra classes at night"

"oh yeah he's trying to get in to his dream college" i nodded

"yeah so i'll see you tomorrow?" cameron chuckled

"see ya then" i said hanging up

i called shawn right after

"hey babe" he picked up

"haha hi." i blushed

"whats up?"

"i just wanted to tell you cameron's in town!" i said acting like he didn't know already

"yeah he told me, but i'm super busy" he replied

"aw. im gonna hang out with him tomorrow night"

"oh well have fun ok and tell him i said hi" he said

"ok love ya shawn"

"love you too stells" he hung up

i finished a couple more episodes of the hills and went to sleep

(THE NEXT DAY...)

i got ready to hang out with cameron

i just wore jeans and a baseball tee with some high top vans

i drove to the mall and met cam in the food court like we'd talked about

i saw him waiting for me when i arrived

"cam!" i ran to him and we hugged for a long time

"hey stella" he said releasing from the hug

"how are you?" i said sitting across from him at the table

"im great. what about you?" he smiled

"im good! so what happened with you and megan?" i asked

"oh i dont really know. she dissed me over text and said i thought of her as just another one of my hoes" he said shaking his head

"what the hell? i thought she was cool!" i said genuinely surprised

"i know sucks huh?"

"yeah. im sorry it didn't work out." i tried to comfort him

"its okay."

it grew silent

then a couple of girls came up to us and asked for a picture with cameron

he agreed. funny thing was they knew who i was.

"stella!" a brunette one said hugging me

when they left we went to hot dog on a stick and bought some food

"they freaking idolize you." cam said sitting back down

"yeah i dont know why" i laughed

while we were eating some guys approached us

they tried to pick up on me

"hey baby girl why don't we get out of here and i'll show you what it's like to be with a real man" the tall one said

"yeah what you doing with this cracker?" the shorter one said pointing at cameron

i ignored them

"get lost" cam said angrily

"come on put your number in my phone" the tall one said handing me his phone

i pushed it away

"i told you to get lost" cameron said throwing his napkin on the floor and standing up

"stop cam.." i whispered

"oh pretty boy whatchya gonna do it about it." the tall one said

"he's not gonna do anything he's a pussy" the short one laughed

"get the hell out of here" cam said up in the tall guy's face

"cameron!" i shouted

"oh sorry is this your lady" the guy said backing up

"no she's not my lady but she has a boyfriend so fucking leave!" cameron said pushing him

the other guy threw a punch at cameron

"STOP" i yelled trying to get him off of cameron

the tall one punched cameron right across the face

cameron got up from the ground and started beating both of them with his bare hands

"cameron stop doing this!" i screamed grabbing his waist as he continued to punch both of the guys repeatedly

"dont ever disrespect me or her again"

"get your fuckin hands off of me" the tall guy said with a swollen mouth

cameron charged at him and he fell to his feet

"cameron no!" i cried as he attacked him

i felt my eyeliner smear

before i could say another word to cameron the mall security took him away.

"cameron!!" i yelled as they grabbed him and forced him to walk

"stella!" he cried out

i saw his bloody lip and bruised cheek

i looked down at the two guys passed out

they were brutally beaten

i grabbed my purse and tried to run after cameron

"cameron!" i shouted in the aisles hoping he'd hear me

there was silence and i heard a small cry

"STELLA GO HOME" i tried to chase his voice but it was impossible to find

"CAMERON!" i yelled out again

"STELLA I TOLD YOU JUST GO HOME" he said as his voice got smaller
