"You look amazing by the way." You said looking the cop up and down. "I wasn't checking you out, but like examining your outfit. I swear I'm not usually this awkward."
"But cops make you nervous?" She asked and you nodded. "Why is that exactly?"
"Long story that I am not sure you'd want to listen to." You said and she smiled, nodding her head. "I'm a meta, I realize that's not a huge thing in National City, because, well aliens, but it was back home and I guess, I'm not really ready to face that kind of prejudice."
"If anyone gives you trouble, tell me and I'll deal with them." Maggie said and you nodded. The two of you continued your dinner and she walked you home, kissing your cheek before going off to her apartment.
