I feel as if I'm drifting
On a current
Never-ending
I feel as if I'm powerless
Against the forces
Ripping, tearing
I feel as if my extended hand
Well never feel
Your touch
I feel as if your love is
Slipping, torn from
My clutch
I feel like I'm being taken
Carried across distances
That we cannot cross
Our love will always be strong,
But will it be strong enough?
It will last, for sure, all those years ahead,
But how long will we have to wait?
