Of sadness
I tried to help
Pull you out
I tried to dry
Your tears
With hope
But hope is very
Thin and fragile
It can shatter

Like your heart
You don't
Deserve this
I'm sorry
About the pain
This caused
Although I
Did not cause it
I feel it
Like a wound to
My own heart
Like a stake
Tearing me apart
You fell
But now you step
Back up
You dust
Yourself off
And try to
