The Boy Next Door-

Three:

His arms fit around her like they were built for her and her alone. Colton had a terrible time keeping his thoughts out of the gutter when he pulled the petite woman he'd been living next door to for three months into his arms. Flush against his body it was much harder to keep his hands on her waist rather than her ass or anywhere else.

She was already skittish enough, he could tell. That escapade in the parking lot had shocked her, and him as well, and he didn't want to scare her off before he had the chance to actually know her. He hadn't meant to bite her nor had he expected what her reaction would be. She was so responsive to his touch that it made him wonder what would happen when he finally got her in bed. He just couldn't wait to find out.

She hesitated momentarily to follow his movements when he moved them to the music, stumbling a bit in her shoes before he pulled her closer, moving one hand to her back. “Just relax. You're thinking too hard.” He whispered, grinning when he caught sight of his eldest brother over her shoulder.

Noah look surprised to see him and with a woman no less, but his brother kept his mouth shut, grinning as he turned and walked back into the kitchen. No doubt to find his own woman and tell her the good news. Noah would keep Avery and the rest of their family away from them for the night, he was sure of that, but it wouldn't be long before his mother started asking questions.

She huffed, glaring up at him from under her lashes when she stumbled again, clinging to his shoulders. “I told you I don't know how to dance. Are you trying to help me look like a fool? Because I can tell you right now I don't need any help.”

“I know.” Colton watched her eyes widen, that spark of anger lighting her hazel eyes as she jerked against his hold on her waist. “Calm down, little cat. I'm just kidding.”

She rolled her eyes, planting her hands on his chest to shove him away. “Sure you were, now let go.” She squirmed in his embrace and his arms tightened around her like steel bands, halting all her movements.

“I don't think I will. I'm quite comfortable where I am, thank you.” He purposely lowered his voice an octave, reveling in the hitch of her breath, the racing of her heart against his chest when he ground his erection against her stomach. “Unless you want me to give everyone a show they won't soon forget I suggest you behave and stop wiggling around.”

It seemed she had forgotten they weren't alone, he smirked. Samara went dangerously pale, glancing around them at the sea of people not caring enough to pay attention. They were all used to couples all but fucking when they danced, but that wasn't why he'd brought her here.

He'd grown up with these people, they were all part of his family. And despite it being their first date he wanted to see how Samara would react to being around them all. Especially his mother. That woman was just itching for another daughter-in-law and he wanted to see how the little cat in his arms handled his dear mother and her outrageousness.

Her eyes narrowed on him, lips pressing into a thin line. “You wouldn't dare.” She seemed to honestly believe it, he smiled. He'd let her believe it for as long as she wanted, as long as she stopped her damn squirming. There was only so much teasing he could take, even if it was unintentional.

He merely grinned toothily down at her. “If you say so.” She rolled her eyes at him, laying her forehead on his chest. It surprised him how easily she accepted his touch no matter how innocent or bold it may be. He'd never had a woman react to his touch the way this little woman did.

And she was definitely little. Her head barely topped his shoulders, even in her shoes, but their bodies fit perfectly together in a way he hadn't expected. She fit against him perfectly, like a puzzle piece, every inch of her even if she was a little short.
