Day Twenty-Four: What Are Your Plans When The Story Is Done?

24: What are you going to do when it's done?

RECOLLECTION OF QUESTIONABLE EVENTS:

I don’t understand the question? Mostly because I’m not sure this story will ever end…

Basically as long as my family stays crazy, there will be endless material for this (it’s slightly based on them). Although, currently it’s at the end of my project list…so it will be a while before I restart this.

I’ve done a first edit (re-read and fixed some stuff). At some point, I’d like to also do a more thorough editing job. I’ll probably need help with that when the time comes.

CON ARTIST LEGACY:

1. EDIT EDIT EDIT EDIT.

My grammar and sentence structure needs work; parts of it are awkward sounding.

2. REWRITE REWRITE REWRITE.

I have to add lots of descriptions in general…explaining motives and making sure my characters and multiple plot-lines stay consistent.

I’ve also got a problem with my characters deciding to change personalities and instead of forcing things, I just let it happen. So now I have to go back and make sure I’m consistent with those changes as well.

3. SEQUEL?

I’ve considered a sequel. I know what it’d be about, but I wouldn’t write it until editing for CAL is complete (and probably not until Veeran is complete as well).

VEERAN:

I have two chapters up. At some point I’d like to finish mapping it out, and start writing it again. Maybe finish it before the summer? Yep, those are my plans for now.

When it is done, I might consider writing the other three books that would take place after Veeran. As well as all the editing/rewriting.
