"Why aren't you dancing with us?" Leigh asked, tugging at Kylee's arm. "Come on, it's a party! Get off the phone!"
"I don't like parties, first of all," Kylee tugged her arm away from Leigh's determined grasp. "Second of all, I'm trying to have a conversation with someone!"
Leigh studied her friend, the way her eyes glittered, how she held her phone close, and she knew. "You're texting a guy!" she accused, a grin appearing.
"So what if I am?" Kylee defended, scrunching her brows. "That's not suddenly a crime is it?"
"No." Leigh reached closer, trying to get a look at the texts, but Kylee instantly locked her phone. "Oh c'mon. Lemme see," she begged.
"Absolutely not." Kylee shook her head, feeling that her conversations with this unknown person were a secret, and this secret was one she wasn't willing to share yet.
