Joe's POV

It had been about a week since I'd last been at school, and even then; I was still shaky. I walked into the school, my hands in my pockets, discreetly searching the corridor for Izazya. Just a glance of him, and I'd be ok. Unfortunately for me, he wasn't there. I sighed heavily as the double bell signalling an assembly rang, and people began crowding towards the assembly hall. I followed the masses of people, and slowly made my way into the giant hall. Finding a seat near the back, I sat down, placing my bag under the seat and immediately checked my phone for messages, as I usually did in situations like this. More than likely, the assembly would be about something stupid, like who's been smoking in the toilets.

After about ten minutes, the hall was full and the principal stepped onto the stage. He tapped the microphone and hoped for a silence from the students which would never come. Since he didn't get his way, he decided to try a different method.

"Students, settle down" he said, some students settled into their seats, some going quiet, but the majority still talking.  "Anyone who isn't quiet in the next ten seconds will be spending two weeks in my office," the principal began. "Cleaning the toilet." The students immediately shut up. I couldn't help but smile; our principal was a nice guy, but he'd not tolerate people talking over him. He smiled in pride of his threat, and cleared his throat.

"Now students, we have an important message to gvie you" the principal said.

"We wouldn't be here if it wasn't!" Someone yelled, earning a scolding look from the principal. He immediately shut up. The principal looked up again.

"In two weeks time, there will be a masked ball, Shaekespeare themed, as you are all studying Shakespeare in English." His speech earned groans from his audience; I being one of those people. I saw someone stand up, obviously in objection, but didn't expect it to be who it was.

"Wait, you're going to make us do more Shakespeare? Don't you think we have enough with English on it's own, nevermind a 'masked ball'?" Izazya said loudly. I could picture his face; his eyebrow cocked, a small smirk on his face and his green eyes sparkling. I couldn't help but laugh.

"Right Izazya, since you want to discuss this, stay behind after the assembly." The principal said. I bit my lip trying not to laugh as the principal dismissed us. Row by row, people left, except for Izazya, who had been sat on the fifth row in. As I left i looked at him.

"Have fun Izazya" I grinned and walked out of the hall as he flagged me off. Charming.

I made my way through the gaps in the masses of people, using the doorframe to pull myself into the classroom. School really needed to get bigger hallways. I walked into the classroom and unsuprisingly, I was the first one there. Taking my seat and getting my books out, I saw someone come into the class, closing the door behind them. I didn't bother to look up until he was stood right beside me. I got the shcok of my life when I did.

"Izazya?!" I yelled, falling off my chair, "y-you weren't in my... English!"

"I know," he replied with a grin. "I got moved into this set."

"How?" I asked.

"Bribery" he whispered.
