Chapter 14

I walk through the halls of school trying to get to my locker before Justin can see me. I'm trying to ignore him as much as I can. Which is going to be hard because we have almost ever class together.

I finally make it to my locker. I open it and take out my notebook, pen, and algebra homework. I close my locker and turn around. I bump into someone. Everything in my arms drop to the ground. The person helps me pick them up while saying sorry.

"It's okay." I smile and look up at the person. My eyes widen and I get up fast. I start to walk away.

"Izzy, wait up." Justin called running to my side. I ignored him and kept on walking, picking up my speed. "Izzy, can you please talk to me?"

"What do you want, Justin?" I stop and turned to face him.

"I want you." He said in a hush tone.

"Bull shit!" I said a little to loud and stomped away.

"Izzy, wait." He grabbed my arm and turned me around to face him again. He pressed our bodies way to close. "Please," He begged. "Give me a second chance." He looked at me with those beautiful eyes that will just melt my insides, and make me give in to anything.

I sighed. "We can be friends. Nothing more." He looked disappointed, but nodded his head.

"Being friends, is better than being nothing at all." He gave me a small smile. "So wanna go to the movies later? Friend." He nudged me with a huge smirk on his face. I cracked a smile.

"That will be nice. See you at lunch?"

"Yup." He nodded. I gave him one last smile and then started walking to my next class.

Yeah, yeah I know I still love him and I want to be more than just friends, but it's better this way. No friends with benefits, no drama, no nothing. Just friends. And I'm pretty sure it will work out fine. I hope.

Its lunch time and I'm looking around for Justin.

"Who you looking for?" Stella ask me.

"Uh...." I pause when I see Justin. A huge smile spreads across my face. For some reason I'm so happy to see him. "Justin." I wave my hand in the air for he can see. He sees me and starts walking over.

"What are you doing?" Matt ask me. I ignore him and tell him to push over for Justin can sit down. He looks at me for a while. I finally look back at him.

"What?" I ask. He looks annoyed and sad. I'm confused.

"Just move, Matt." Jack, Stella's boyfriend, says. Matt doesn't move for a couple of seconds, still looking at me. I look away because I was getting a little uncomfortable by his stare.

Justin stands behind Matt and me. "Hey." He says. Matt just gets up and storms out of the lunch room. Whats up with him? Justin takes a sit next to me and smiles.

"So how's it going?" Justin ask all of us, but he was looking at me. I look down at the table smiling and blush. I peek a glance at Stella and shes smiling at me.

"Its been great, Justin. How have you been?" Stella said.

"Other days, not so great. Today, amazing!" He stated with a smile.

"Oh really?" Stella ask. "Why is that?"

" 'Cause this girl I'm in love with finally decided to give me a second chance." He smiled. I blush a deeper red.

"Are you two dating again?" She ask, pretending like she don't even know its me, hes talking about.

He frowns at his hands. "Sadly," He sighs. "no. She just wants to be friends. And I'm okay with that. Its better than being nothing at all." I blush even deeper, and smile big time, while Stella 'aw'.
