"He's what?" I said as tears started to come down my face.
"He's in a coma. I'm very sorry." he said.
Sandi sat Elijah who was crying down next to Yasmine and ran over to me.
"Everything is gonna be fine" she said.
"It's not gonna be fine. Nothing will ever be the same!" I said.
- Reality -
3 months later...
"Mommy when is daddy gonna wake up?" Yasmine asked sitting on the hospital bed.
"I don't know baby." I said setting Elijah down on the ground.
He was now walking and he knew how to say a lot of words now.
It has been rough the past few months. We came to the hospital everyday to check on him. I believe that one day he will be waking up and when he does we will be right here.
"Da Da." Elijah said hitting my legs.
Elijah understood what was going on.
Yasmine's 6th birthday is next week.
"Yasmine what do you want for your birthday honey?" I asked her.
She looked at me. "I want daddy to wake up!" she said poking Drake.
"Baby he will wake up." I said.
"You promise?" she said.
I hesitated before saying "I promise."

Drake's POV
I wish I could move my hand , my arm , my leg anything to let them know that I was still here.
I could hear everything that they were saying and it broke my heart.
I hated seeing Jasmine cry.
I was so angry at whoever did this and I think I know who did it but I'm not sure.
I want revenge and I know just how to get it.
"Mommy!" Yasmine screamed.
"Yes baby?" she said.
"Daddy moved his hand!" Yasmine yelled.
