- Recap -

"Mommy has to go bye bye for a little while. I will be back." I said kissing his cheek.

He smiled. I sat him back down in his crib.

I picked up my suitcase and walked downstairs towards the door.

I can't believe I'm leaving my family. I assured myself that what I was doing was for Yasmine.

Ain't no turning back now.

- Reality -

5 months later

Jasmine's POV

"It's been five months already." Bella said sitting down next to me on the couch.

"I know it's been a while but she said stay away from them forever." I said.

It has been five months since I have last seen Drake and the kids. As soon as I left the house Briana returned Yasmine. I have been staying at Bella's house for a little while.

"I know but you should be able to check on your kids." Bella said.

"Yeah you're right." I said standing up.

Drake and I were still married because I didn't want to divorce him so I didn't sign the papers.

"I'll drive you." she said getting up to find her keys.

I had to remind myself that I wasn't going over there to see Drake but to see the kids.

I was dressed in a simple t-shirt and pants. I slid on my Jordans and then my jacket.

"Are you ready?" Bella asked coming back into the room dressed.

I nodded my head yes.

We then went outside to her car and rode off.

"Just go in there." Bella said for the 5th time.

"I can't. What if Yasmine and Drake are mad at me?" I asked.

"Yasmine will get over it and Drake can't tell you not to see your kids." she said.

"Your right." I said opening the door and stepping out.

I walked slowly to the door and stopped when I reached it.

I knocked on the door twice before it was opened.

"MOMMY!" Yasmine yelled jumping into my hands.

"Hey Yasmine." I said carrying her into the house.

"Mommy I missed you so much!" she said kissing my cheek.

I did not expect her to act like this.

"I missed you more. Where's daddy?" I asked.

"He's feeding Eli." she said calling Elijah by his nickname she gave him.

"Oh Ok." I said tickling her.

She started giggling loudly "Stop it mommy!" she said between laughs.

I continued to tickle her and we also played around a bit. I chased her and we played with her dolls. It was nice to have Yasmine back.

We must have been really loud because Drake came downstairs.

"Yasmine who are you--" he stopped.

He was really surprised to see me. He almost dropped Elijah. I seen the way he was holding Elijah it looked like he was going to burp him so I grabbed Elijah.

"I'll handle this." I said grabbing Elijah's towel , putting him over my shoulder , and patting his back.

"Jasmine can I talk to you." he asked.

I nodded my head yes and handed Elijah to Yasmine.

"Can you watch Elijah for a second?" I asked her.

"yes." she said holding the baby in her lap.

I made sure she had a good grip on him and then walked off with Drake.

When we were upstairs he closed the door and walked over to me.

"Why the hell are you here?" He asked.

"What do mean why am I here? They're my kids too!" I said.

"You weren't thinking about them when you left." he said.

"I left for Yasmine. I did what I thought was right to get Yasmine back." I said.

"I could have found another way to get her." he said.

"What if you didn't?" I said.

He didn't say anything back he just rubbed his neck and sat down on the bed.

"Come here." he said patting his lap.
