whenever you doubt,
just how special you are,
think of the bird
sitting at your windowsill,
or the ladybug,
who decided to rest on
the palm of your hand,
or the winking moon,
who doesn't leave your side,
as you sleep.
they've been doing this,
since the day you were born,
because there was never anyone,
quite as unique and special,
as you.
