friends.
they're like hot cocoa
[with marshmallows, whipped cream,
and chocolate chips]
on a cold winter's day,
when all you see is
an army of snow,
and your breath is
frozen mist, your hands
icicles.
or a popsicle,
[blue raspberry to be exact]
on a hot summer's day,
when the temperature is
like that of the sun's,
and your clothes
stick to your skin,
as the pavement sizzles
underneath you.
hot cocoa,
popsicles,
and most certainly
friends,
can make life
even more of a blessing,
than it already is.
