The heavy doors stand in front of me, and I swallow the lump in my throat. I have do this. It's my job. I raise my fist, but hesitate. Will I adress her as princess? Will we still be friends? Is there a possibility of us being... more than friends? There probably was before I ran. "Are you going to go in?" Asks Rosalind, or Rosy for short.

"Um, yeah, sorry." I knock on the door, but there's no reply.

"You can still go in. The princess is probably still asleep. It'll be fine," Rosy assures me.

I turn the knob, and open the door. Izzy's sitting at her desk, and doesn't even seem to notice I'm in the room. I set her breakfast down on her bedside table, then quickly exit the room. "Clementine, what's wrong?"

I've ruined everything.
