Ray's POV

I just watched Laci as she blow dried her hair in my mom's mirror. I couldn't help but stare, she was just so beautiful. I just didn't understand how she could get herself so caught up.A smart girl like her would never just keep putting herself in a position to get hurt.It was obvious princeton didn't love her, yet she continues to run back to him.

I got pissed just thinking about that nigga. "What are you frowning about Ray?!" I was so enraged I didnt even want to answer her. I plopped on the bed searching through the channels. Hopefully some good tv would help me stop thinking about this fucked up situation for a second. "Stupid movie, dumb showwww, sappy movie, boring showw, fake showww" I flipped through the channels with absolutely nothing catching my eye.

"Ohhhh put it back on Criminal Minds I LOVE that show!" Laci squealed appearing from the bathroom. "Nahhh Im not really in the mood for tv anymore. Laci..we need to talk" Once the words left my lips I saw her body language change. Not in a good way either.

"Ray if you don't mind I'd rather not talk about it right now." Her head bowed low. "Well when will be the the time to talk about it Lace! You're always pushing things off and keeping everything bottled up. You're going to go insane doing that. He's hurt you Laci. Now I know I can't even begin to understand the way you feel.Love hurts. It might take a little time for your heart to heal. I know that I can't take away your pain... but I can be your band-aid." I saw her smile a little. 

"Laci Mercedes Sanchez I love you , you know that right?" I felt so warm saying those words to her. However, as I awaited her answer she began to giggle. "What so funny" I was confused as ever. "Ray did I ever tell you I technically have two middle names?" She said it as if I were suppose to have already known. "Uhhh no, but I don't get why that's funny right now" My face was blank. "No I just thought you should know if every time you say you love me you use my full name." I was still a little lost. "Just out of curiosity , what is your full name?" An inquiring mind wanted to know.

"My full government name is .....Laci Mercedes Isabella (Ambrosia) Sanchez" She smiled. All four of her cultural names sounding like music to my ears. "Well Laci Mercedes Isabella Ambrosia Sanchez I love you. "Well Rayan Dequan Lopez Im going to say something I should have said long ago. I Love y-...No scratch that Im in love with you. I know you probably don't understand some of the things I do but you still stick around; and for that I thank you." She kissed my cheek. God why do I love this girl so much I thought.

Laci's POV 

I looked over to see Ray nodding off. I couldn't help but smile. Then the the thought rolled across my mind; I fell in love with my tutor. As it marinated I instantly felt a tingly sensation. It was then in that one moment I knew he could be the one.
