Okay Im Back!! For good this time! I know its been ages since I've updated and its been for a good reason.As yall may or may not know I wrote this story on a limb so naturally I sometimes dont know how to go about each chapter.Anyway I have alll NEW ideas for this story and I can't wait for yall to see what will be popping off! So I'll be updating 2wice a week from now on. The days may very but there should be a new chapter once if not 2wice a week. But yeahhh thats all I had to say.....On to the chapter now.

Ray's POV

Im on my way to this party that I really don't want to go to.Eddie called practically begging me to go now this fool isn't even answering his phone! I swear if he fake me out Im going to kill him.

I needed to calm my nerves so I turned on some music. It was probably just my head playing games on me anyway. I was almost to Emily's house when I saw a girl running down the street, she was cute but if she was running around our neighborhood after midnight she had to be crazy. For a brief second that girl made me think of Laci..... NO Ray! Dont think about her tonight , its for the best. Besides she was probably somewhere twerkin on princeton's ass. What ever FDB!

I continued driving , when I noticed all the cars . I must have been close to emily's house. Next thing I know, I see Princeton running screaming "Laci! I didn't mean it! Its not what you think" All of a sudden ,almost as if something took over me my car made came to a quick halt. My blood was rushing and my mind was racing. "That was Laci?" I thought to myself. I wondered what had happened with those two. I contemplated turning around to go and help Laci. Then I instinctively made a sharp u-turn in the middle of the street. I had to go make sure she was okay. I mean what ever happened must have really upset her for her run up the streets and not take her car!

I drove as fast as I could to catch up to laci passing prince's ass straight up. After riding a couple of blocks I finally caught up to laci. Damn she had gotten far, she must have really been trying to get away from princeton. I looked back and saw him heading back down the street the opposite way from laci . Thats just like him, walk away from his problems. Punk!

I slowly pulled my car over toward the curb.
"Laci" I called out. She just kept on walking though. "Laci wait! Its me!" She turned around with piercing eyes and noticed it was me. After staring at me for a second she turned around only to start walking again. I was confused I began to ride slow along side of her.



"I don't wanna talk Ray." She stated bluntly. "Laci look I dont know what happened between you two, but I just want to make sure you're okay" I explained. "Ohhh you wanted to make sure I was okay.Alright heres some news , I think someone spiked my punch and now Im partially drunk, I forgot where I parked my car on top of that I dropped my carkeys running from that..that...that ASSWHOLE! Oh and you'll love this part. The reason I was running from him was because I caught him cheating on me! Cheating on ME with emily! So you're wondering if Im okay,NO I'm not okay!


"Laci Im so sorry I-I dont even know know what to say. " I said genuinely shocked. "Look atleast let me take you home" I pleaded. "No ray, I want to just walk and clear my mind" She replied blowing me off. "Well Im not leaving you here alone" "Fine ray, I don't care. She continued to walk as a rode along side her.

Several minutes had passed by when it began to thunder. Just great. She didn't even pay it any mind, well until it began to drizzle. I watched her speed up her pace but continue to walk. This was ridiculous! It suddenly began to pour out rain. Laci didnt even flench! She walked up the street drenched and in her feelings.

I felt bad for her but I was done with her stubborn attitude! I stopped my car , got out, and walked up to laci. I picked her up in one swift movement. "Dammit put me down Ray! Let me walk in the Rain!" "NO Laci! We're gonna talk whether you like it or not!" I said putting her in my passenger seat. I got in and began driving to my house .

"Just drop me off home Ra-" "No we're going to my place!" I told her. "But why?" "DAMMIT LACI JUST SIT BACK AND RELAX YOUR NERVES ! " I saw her fold her arms and look out the window in defeat. Ahaha I won...I thought as I continued driving.



Laci's POV

Honestly at this point I dont know how to feel. Tonight I caught my botfriend kissing my worst enemy.Now ofcoarse me being the person I am, I got mad. However I might have over reacted. Maybe she kissed him and he was just about to pull away when I walked in. Yeah maybe thats what happened.Prince told me he wasn't into emily like that anyway. Then again this is the same chic he asked to tutor him in spanish knowing that he's fully mexican! Maybe something was going on between the two of them. Am I being totally stupid for thinking other wise..

Maybe they're just- "We're here!" I heard echo in my head. I just ignored it until I noticed the car had stopped. "Laci we're here" Ray spoke... Reluctantly I opened the car door getting out. As we walked up to ray's house I noticed it was extremely dark. It almost made his house look a bit spooky.

Once again I was pulled from my thoughts as ray led me inside. When I stepped inside an easy feeling came over me as I scanned the familiar home. I loved the way his mom had decorated. An olive green color took over the living room, while a burnt orange accented the kitchen. It felt so warm here I had almost forgot about the problems I had in my life. One of those problems being the reason I was at this house in the first place.

My head bowed as my thoughts got deeper, and I couldn't help but sulk. I guess ray noticed because he started walking over to me with those infamous eyes of his. "What are you thinking about Laci?" He asked... "I don't know ray... Im thinking about. I dont Im thinking about a lot okay." I stated...truthfully.

"You have to let me in Laci . I cant help you. I cant sympathize or make you feel better if you dont let me in." His eyes were so pleading and genuine. Even though, when I opened my mouth to talk to him I couldn't find the words to say. I just wasn't in my right state of mind. All I could think about was princeton.

"Listen to me I have an Idea, but first you need to get cleaned up. My mom had to go handle some business with my dad upstate so she shouldn't be back at least until tomorrow afternoon. I want you to stay here tonight. "But ray I-" "NO Laci, I don't want to hear anything you have to say. For now you can go take a shower in my mom's bathroom. In the mean time I'll call everyone and let them know where you are. Okay!?" I couldn't help but nod and proceed up the steps......


Britni's POV

"Oh so she's with you? Thank God! We've been looking for her like crazy. When they announced she had won prom queen everybody started flipping because we couldn't find her. When do you want me to come pick her up? Huh? You sure? Its not a bother prod wouldn't mind driving to get her. Okay what ever you say, please take care of her . I know you will. Tell her I love her too. Ahaha okay goodnight Ray" I concluded hanging up the phone.

"So she's with who" Kayla questioned. "She with Rayan, soo basically she's in safe hands." I smiled. "Well I am glad she safe, but she done left me out here solo and ish. I lowkey feel some type of way. "Now kay you know you practically family. I can take you home!" I heard prodigy cough. I looked over to him only so see that sly look on his face.

"Ughh excuse me! Correction my boyfriend can take you home! Better!?" I sassed smiling at him. "Yes much better! But nahh kayla I really don't mind bringing you home. brit and I were just about to leave anyway." He gestured. "Okay thank you prodigy" she told him getting into the car. We drove for almost 30 or so minutes until we reached a subdivision with sone of the biggest houses I had ever seen. I didnt even know the made houses like this in Louisiana!" I joked. "Yeahh these are the perks of being a military brat I guess. Well this and all handbags I want." She bragged. Mann she was so lucky. I bet she probably has a Birkin bag for every day of the week. "Well yall this is me." Kayla implied. We let her out at a huge 2 maybe 3 story home. Four tall bushes complimented the yard.I watched closely as she walked up to her front door. Two huge ivory pillars stood on the sides of her front door. I snapped out of my nosyness when I heard her yell goodbye.After we saw her into her house we drove away.....
