The Weeping Angel

I looked up to see my father was staring at something, a stone statue, but not just any statue, a weeping angel

Leah's P.O.V

I swore under my breath, why of all the things did there have to be a weeping angel here? and why now?

"let's get out of here" my father said pulling me towards him

"Yeah four" I said slowly walking over to my father but Jack stopped me

"Leah why did you say four?" He asked grabbing my wrist as I turned to look at him

"I didn't I said four" I sighed pulling my wrist out of his grip and wallking over to my father

"Yes you did" My father said, "I agree" Jack added, great I thought he was on my side

"Dad trust me i said sure" I sighed, why was he so worried? I didn't say four.

"No you didn't you said four, Leah close your eyes because the angel is in your eye and I don't want to loose you please" he begged

"Dad I'm fine, I promise I'm fine, there's nothing in my eye, and I said sure, I promise" I said giving him a reassuring smile

"Doctor I've got this" Jack sighed "Leah you are not okay, you see this scanner? tell me what you see" he asked showing me the scanner, I laughed slightly "three" I whispered

"Leah I will force you to close your eyes, you just said three, look you're getting dizzy, It's the angel trying to control you, don't make me force you because you know I will" he said sternly

I looked at Jack shocked "two" I mumbled before quickly sitting down so I didn't fall

"Okay Leah now I'm going to force you to close your eyes." Jack said putting the scanner up to my face, causing y eyes to close

I suddenly felt fine "what was that?" I asked

"The Angel controling you and I had to shut your eyes. If you open them for a second you will die." he replied said. "Jack we have to get out of here." My father said sounding slightly distressed

"But I can't see" I groaned, I mean seriously how am I supposed to walk if I can't see where I'm going?

"yeah I know you can't but you'll be safer now." Jack said picking me up and holding me. "Doctor, I know we shouldn't but we can get out of here with the vortex minipulator back to my place and get the hell out of here." He said

"Hang on what about the angel, I mean dads angel" I asked, I mean we couldn't just leave, innocent people would die

"For once alright." My father said as I heard him walk over, what was he Doing?

"Don't worry where we're going the angel cannot follow." Jack said then i felt the familiar sensation of traveling by vortex manipulator, not very pleasant. Jack put Me down thats when they got an earful

"No, no, no! By leaving we just put everyone else in danger! We out innocent people's lives at risk! We don't do that ever, no matter what reason we never leave innocent people to get hurt!" I shouted angrily

"Leah we had to get you out of there as fast as we could and Jack and I can go take care of it now" My father replied calmly

"No I'm not being left behind, plus i can't believe you actually let us disappear to save one life and put thousands of others in danger!" I shouted again, I can't believe the even thought about putting me first instead of everyone else

"Oh for peat sake you are not getting the message, I have a time machine as soon as I put you somewhere safe we'll come back here in less than a minute from when we left and get rid of the angel." My father sighed

"You can't cross your own time line we're part of events now!" I shouted back, did he seriously forget the rules?

"We have to stop the angels now and I'm coming" I added

"We don't know how many there are" My father sighed.

"Use the TARDIS to get a fix" I said in a duh sort of tone, I'm still annoyed at the both of them

"Right yes of course" my father sighed

I let out a frustrated sigh, I felt so useless, I couldn't do anything because I couldn't see, I had to trust them completely, and at the moment I was having trouble doing that

"It looks like there's only three" my farther informed us

"That's three too many" I mumbled placing my head in my hands

"It will be okay" he sighed placing his hand on my shoulder, "we've dealt with them before, we can do it again"

I just nodded, I heard Jack gasp"what is it? Jack what's going on?"

"They're in here" he sighed

"What? No they can't be! Don't, don't blink!" I shouted getting panicked, he didn't answer "jack, jack answer me!"

"Sorry, sorry" he sighed "I was, I'm not blinking I promise"

"Dad what are we going to do?" I asked panicked

"Well for once I don't have a plan and we can't stand here staring at them all day" he sighed

"You have to have a plan, you always have a plan" I sighed

"Okay maybe I have a plan, but it involves you" he sighed

"Anything, anything I'll do anything, they can't be in the TARDIS you know that" I replied desperately

"You're necklace, we can use that" he sighed

"But I don't know where they are, where do I aim? What if I hit Jack?"

"You won't, just trust yourself" he said gently placing has hand on my shoulder

I lifted my necklace off my neck gently and held it up "I hope this works" I whispered as I felt energy pulse out of the necklace, I heard a smashing sort of sound, "did it work?" I whispered

"Yes it worked" my father said, I could hear the grin in his voice "you can open your eyes now the angels are gone, that means the one in your eyes will be too"

I slowly opened my eyes, the angels were gone, finally, I hated those things, they scared me to death, I immediately hugged my father "that was too close" I whispered

"I know, I'm sorry" he replied hugging my back tightly

"Jack get over here" I smiled pulling him into our hug "can u stay with us?" I asked

"Sorry kiddo but I have to go back to Torchwood" he sighed giving me a small smile

"Alright" I sighed hugging him tightly

"Come back and visit soon okay?" Jack said giving us a small smile

"We will" I smiled back "stay out of trouble harkness okay?"

"No promises" he smiled before walking out

I turned to my father I needed to ask him now, it was now or never.
