**3 months later**
Lacie POV
The last three months have gone in a blur and the fights between my mother and father have gotten worse, this was until last night that my dad has his bags packed and bitterly screeched at my mother "Nancy I'm done with your shit,I'm moving out and thats final,be ready on Thursday for court, I'm done trying..." stomping out of the house. I heard my mom coming up the stairs, I quietly scurried to my room and shut the door. My mom came knocking at my door. YAY (note my sarcasm). She's turning into what I call a whore and I hate it, my own mother the whore. "Can I come in Lace?" she asked sweetly as if nothin has happened."NO!" I basically screamed at her "go away I don't want to see you, go away." I continued and put my iHome on blast toblock out the sound of her now annoying voice.
My parents that have been together for about 20 years are now getting a divorce they truly dont care about how Alex and I will react to this stupid shit. This is all because of my mother and her affair with the unknown 'co-worker'. I decided to tex Maddy to see if I could go to her house.
[M-Maddison & L-Lacie]
L- Hey Mads can I go over I need you counseling
M- Hey bestfriend. And Sure, do you want Mace to pick you up or are you walking.
L- walking I'll call you when I'm there.
M- kk.
"Maddie I'm here open the door."
"I'm going."
When she opened the door James and Nate were sitting on the couch and Mason was walking out of the kitchen. "Hey Lace." they all said at once "Hey." I said as I walked up stairs with Maddy. I would now have to explain the whole story to Maddy, I just realized I had told Maddy nothing and Mason everything. I hate it how whenever something goes wrong he just appears in my room. It's like he can sniff out when I'm feeling hurt.
"Okay so what happened?" Maddy asked looking worried to an odd extreme
"Well my parents are getting divorced on Thursday." her eyes widened in awe
"WHAT! What do you mean divorce?" okay now she was freaking out.
"Divorce, as in they will no longer be married."
"Why? What happened?" she cautiously asked
"Oh, nothing much my mom is just a whore, that likes to have boyfriends while she's married." she looked at me with grief in her eyes.
"Lace do you wanna sleepover tonight?"
"Can Al sleepover to I have to tell him he doesn't know yet he's been put with his girlfriend all day."
"Of course Lace." I quickly took out my iPhone out and texted Alex.
[A- Alex & L- Lacie]
L- Alex can you come over to Maddy's house? It's important
A- Yeah I was getting home
L- okay bring a change of clothes
A- alright be there in 5
L- okay I'll be waiting for you :*
Maddy looked like she was going to go on a rampage
"Wait your mom cheated on your dad?" she asked straightforwardly
"Yea, so what do I do now and how should I tell Al?" I am more worried about how this will affect Alex cause of his psychosis, and ADHD. He can't control his temper or his emotions.
"Lace do you want me to tell him?"
"No I have to do it." I told her.
I heard a knocking on the door then all the boys went crazy downstairs. Mason loved Alex, he was like the older and younger brother.
"ALEXX!" I heard Mason holler out.
"Hey, Mace. Dude, I haven't spoken to you in like ages." I heard Alex say
"Yeah man. We need to catch up."
"Mace where's my sister?"
"She's with Maddy upstairs."
Alex made his way up the stairs and into Maddy's room.
"Hey Maddy ." he waved at her and sat next to me
"What happened Lacie?" he questioned eagerly.
"Al I really can't put this any simpler as its going to come out-"
His face turned dark. "Lacie what the fuck happened."
"Al relax."
"Tell me Lace."
"Al dad and mom are going to get a divorce. And he-"
"YOU TOLD ME EVERYTHING WAS GOING TO BE OKAY!" tears now filled his eyes
"Alex I couldn't do anything about it. We are staying here tonight."
"BUT YOU TOLD ME!"
"I know, I know what I said, and I'm sorry Al." he curled into a ball and place his head on my lap. I can't even describe how hurt he must feel and he doesn't have his medication. Shit.
I texted Mason and told him to go to my house and get Al's medication.
I heard a car engine start and Mason's car dove off to my house about like 3 minutes later he came up stairs with a glass of water and several pills. I told Alex to take them and he did as he was told. Couple minutes later he stopped crying and went downstairs to hang out with the guys
