Your POV

"Hey (y/n), what are you doing in the kitchen so early?"
"Oh, hi Hiyori" you replied, "Nothing really, I guess I'm a morning person."
You smiled.
"Yeah, me too.. What do you think..? You wanna make breakfast for our two lazy friends?"
"You mean Yato and Yukine?"
"Yes, they'd love it."
"I think thats a great idea!"
"But..", Hiyori pouted.
"Huh? What's wrong?"
"Oh nothing. It's just that I think it would be even better with some of Yato's favorite chocolate."

"I guess we dont have that", I asked.
"No, not yet. But I can go and get some in the shop... You wait here! I'll go and get it!"

You waited in the kitchen while Hiyori was going to the shop.
You decided to already start making some sandwiches, but then you felt a hand on your shoulder. You turned your head.

"Yukine? Are you awake already?"
"Yeah, for a few minutes actually. I couldn't sleep.."
"I was told that you always slept 'till 11 a.m."
"Hiyori gave you some clothes, didn't she?", he asked, ignoring my comment.
"Yes, what do you think?"

You were wearing a jeans and a white T-shirt. Normally you were also wearing a blue jacket when it's cold, but that jacket was laying on the table for now.

"G-great...you look great."
"Thanks. I think it's a lot better than that white robe."

"Y-yeah, so...what are you doing?"
"Hiyori en I were making breakfast for you and Yato, but Hiyori is now out to buy some chocolate."
"O-oh, okay. I'm going for a walk. I-If you're looking for me, I'm probably in the garden."

Yukine was already leaving. But you stopped him.
"Wait a second. You don't think I'm gonna let you walk alone like that, right? Let me get my jacket."
You took your jacket and your cap and left with Yukine.

"I am here to keep you company. Don't you even think of going alone."
"O-okay. B-but you don't have to do this. If you don't want to walk with me than you don't have to."
"It's okay. I think it's a good idea to walk a little. And this way we can get to know each other better."

You gave him a cute but bright smile.😊😊😊😊

My head was burning.
Why does she have to be so goddamn cute?!

"Is something wrong?"
"N-no no, everything is alright!"

"Are you feeling sick?"

She was right... It wasn't just because she was...cute...
I was really feeling sick...

Yato shouted when I saw him coming out of the doorway.

...It was in a matter of seconds that it happened...

I was feeling hot... Like I was walking in a desert.

You shouted,... but he didn't react.

"(Y/n), let's get him inside.."
"Is everything okay? I told him! But he wasn't listening!"

You were worried about him. At least..

"Let's get him inside. I'm sure Kofuku has a medicine."

You both carried Yukine inside.

"Can you carry him to his bed? I'll go and get something."

They both asked.
