Hiiiii everyone! Sorry it's been so long, I'm just having trouble with writting this story. It's like any ideas for this one aren't even there any more. I had a full chapter four written before but I don't know what happened to it and I guess it got deleted or something, but i'm gonna really try on this one. I'm sorry for the long wait, and I hope this chapter is okay. :)
Jace:
I was in my dad's office, his beta and third were there too. Me and Ronny haven't even been home for two hours and already something was important and I had to go to work. It was kinda annoying actually. All I want to do is be with my beautiful mate and wife, but no, I was here listening to these three go on and on about god knows what.
" Jace, are you listening to me? " my dad asked, snapping me out of my amazing daydream about Ronny.
" What? " I asked, making him close his eyes in annoyance and growl a bit.
" I said, how are you going to run this pack in a month if you keep zoning out in important meetings? Ronny isn't the only pack member you have to worry about. " he snapped. I narrowed my eyes at him now. He should know how it is when you have a mate, I don't know what his deal is. I mean, I just got married, how can he expect me to get over it already?!
" I'll be able to " I said, I just looked at him. If he has doubts about me then he can hand the alpha position down to someone else. Not that that would go over well, but still. I'm not completely useless.
" Jace, we spotted some of Alexanders pack members running around, I don't want you to freak out, I just want you to be on the look out. " he said then. My whole body was tense now. Why did I think this all was over? Of course Alexander wasn't going to give up this easily! He wanted Ronny, and she got away, of course he was going to come after her again.
I could feel my wolf stirring around inside of me angrily. He wasn't going to touch my mate, ever again. He got off lucky with the beating I gave him in the battle. I growled.
" Just relax son, I know you're angry, but we gotta just lay low for a little bit. "
" Just lay low?! " I snapped. " We should have killed those members! You know they're going back and telling Alexander everything that's going on! You know he knows me and Ronny are married now and that we're taking over the pack in less then a month! How can we just lay low?! " I was standing now, ready to kill someone. I just wanted to be with Ronny. This whole situation has got me into a really bad mood.
" We can't just go kill members of another pack! " Kaden's dad said, also jumping to his feet. I growled at him angrily. Who did he think he was?! He wasn't the soon to be alpha! I was!
" Jace, he's right, attacking them will just get everyone into a stir and it'll throw us back into the battle we've already faught a million times before. " my dad said calmly.
" Dad, I can't just relax, they took Ronny once before why would they hesitate to do it again?! "
" Well, one: You two are mated now. And two: she's going to be the luna, so they might stop them and three: we plan on having tight security around everyone. "
I shook my head. Tight security please, like that'll help. We're all werewolves, that's not gonna help at all! If Alexander wants Ronny there's not gonna be alot we can do except kill him, or he'll never stop.
" Fine, I'm going home. " I said, annoyed.
" Don't do anything stupid Jace " my dad said, I shot a glare at him over my shoulder and left the office.
Emily:
Me and Ronny were sitting on my bed, talking just like normal, but I wasn't normal. I couldn't get Cross out of my head. I wanted to be with him so badly. I hated that Kaden was pretending to be my mate, I don't even know why I'm going along with it!
As if reading my mind, Ronny asked " So how are you and Kaden? " moving her eyebrows up and down suggestively. I shook my head, laughing a little bit, but my heart wasn't into it. " What's wrong? " she asked, completely serious now, her eyebrows furrowed.
" Nothing, I just, I don't know. . . " I muttered.
" Don't give me that, what's wrong? " she asked again.
" I don't know. When me and Kaden are alone it's not right. "
" What do you mean it's not right? " she asked, looking confused.
I took a deep breath. " I mean, it's not like we're mates. We don't touch or kiss or anything, and then there's this guy . . . " I blurted.
" A guy?! "
" Shhhh! " I hissed.
" I'm sorry, " she whispered, " but a guy?! "
I nodded. " Yeah, an amazing guy, with dark brown hair, and green eyes, " I shook my head a little, I can't zone out right now! " anyways, I saw him, like an hour before I shifted, and then I saw him again yesterday, out in a clearing. "
" Ohmigod! Why were you out in a clearing by yourself Em?! " she scolded, but I didn't really care.
" That's all you got out of that! I mean, what if he's my mate Ronny? I don't feel like I should towards Kaden, and when he spoke it was like he was the most wonderful thing in my life at the moment, and now that I'm not near him it's like there's a huge hole in my chest. " I frowned.
" That definately sounds like mate stuff. . . " she frowned too, " but then who's Kaden's mate? "
" I don't know, and honestly I don't really, I just don't want to pretend to be someone elses mate when I'm not."
" Wait, what's his name? Is he a wolf? "
" Cross and he's definately a wolf, but I don't know if he's a rogue or anything. . . " I didn't even think about if he was a rogue or in a pack or not, " Look, don't tell Jace, please, let this just be best friend stuff you know? Let's worry about the rogue thing later? "
" Okay, but I'm not going to keep it a secret too long, i don't want anybody threatening the pack, you know."
" Yeah, I know, but I'm scared you know, and confused. I just don't want any problems out in the open quite yet. "
" Okay, I won't tell him " she said, i hugged her tight. It was so awful not having her here for the past two weeks. i'm so happy she's back and she'll be able to help me through this.
Okaaaay, so this is probably more like a filler chapter, so Ronny knows what's going on with Emily and noooow Alexanders pack is back spying. :)) I'll upload asap I promise!!!
