In my opinion, music is about expressing feelings through rhythm and rhyme, but some this top 40 stuff is really discarding that. They write about drugs and affairs and lust, and on rare occasion it's okay. But for the majority of the time, why is it necessary? Have these song writers ever thought,
'Oh! There are two through twelve aged children listening to this'

Aren't they the least bit embarrassed when they release a song about breasts and backsides and cocaine? Do these artists not care that some people receive these messages as your real life, and even if it is, quite frankly, I don't want hear about how you're poisoning your body and committing adultery.

And yes, sometimes I do listen to these songs because I like the melody, but generally I do not appreciate that particular topic.
