Espoused unto your future wife,
In whose dear heart you'll spend you life
In times of bliss and times of sadness,
You see you life begin to change;
Familiar things now rearrange
Into an aspect of love's madness,
In which old friends are now exchanged
For new acquaintances estranged—
You must do this for her sweet gladness!
