As we forgive, we now forget
The agonies that make us fret
O'er all the sorrows of our youth;
But in forgetting, we deprive
Ourselves the might to cope and strive,
Expressed in younger stares of ruth:
Old age defeated you at last
When glory days lie in your past,
So pass the torch and see the truth.(To be continued...)
