“You alright?” Calum asked sitting on the floor next to me.
“I’ve been better.” I shrugged
“You know ... Ashton hasn’t been the same without you.” Calum stated.
“How do you mean?” I asked
“He was angry, he was never happy, he stayed in and he hated performing.” Calum sighed
“What makes you think it’s me?” I asked
“He spoke to me the other day, he really loves you and he doesn’t want you to hate him anymore.” Calum said stroking my back.
“I don’t hate him, I’m just finding him hard to forgive him.” I replied
“I know it’s hard, but he’s living with you now you need to forgive him sooner or later.” He said
I nodded
“I just don’t want to get hurt.” I replied
Calum sighed
“I don’t want you getting hurt to, but you need to speak to Ashton.” Calum smiled
“Do you really think Luke is going to let me talk to Ashton after today?” I asked
“Hmm ... maybe not.” Calum said.
“Thank you.” I smiled “I know what I need to do.”
“Good, I’m glad I helped.” He smiled hugging me.
We walked into the living room where Ashton was sitting on the couch, no one else in sight.
“What’s wrong, Ash?” Calum asked sitting next to him.
“Luke, he doesn’t want me here. He’s booked a hotel near us for me to stay at until we leave.” Ashton sighed.
“He’s just angry” I spoke up.
Ashton looked at me
“Angry? He practically hates me.” he stated
“Every brother is protective of their sisters, especially when a guy is involved.” I said sitting on the other side of Ashton.
“But he seemed so angry.” He sighed looking up at me.
I stroked his arm slightly
“I have to stay in the same room as him too.” He whimpered hugging me, nuzzling his face into my neck.
“Listen, how about you stay in my bed tonight?” I suggested
“Wren I don’t think that’s the best idea.” Calum said looking at me cautiously
“He can’t be in the same room as Luke.” I said
He shook his head
“I know but this will make things wors-“
“Ashton?” Luke asked walking into the lounge. “Ashton I’m sorry, I lost it. I’ve just never had a younger sister to protect before and I just want the best for her.”
“But we’re not together.” He said
He nodded
“I know, and I’m sorry.” Luke said
Ashton nodded
“I’m sorry too, I was just so desperate for Wren to forgive me I just wanted to give her a reason to.” Ashton admitted
