There are many definitions of love. A profoundly tender or passionate affection for another person, or a feeling of warmth and deep adoration. I didn’t believe in love, then again I was never on the receiving end of any.
Pain. Pain was an emotion I knew all too well. The definition of it is strangely vague, it being either a mental or physical suffering due to torment. You get used to it though, living in place filled with pain, even if you craved something other than the hatred and disgust which was constantly directed at you. Yes, pain was a far from pleasant emotion.
