Chapter 24;
Kate p.o.v
Over the last few months, my dad had made more of an effort to like Eric.
Although they'd know about us for over 3 months now, I knew it would take a while for them to see eye to eye, but I'm so glad that they're at least trying.
Mum had grown to like Eric, and my dad really had come on leaps and bounds. At first, they'd only been able to see each other for a few moments at a time with me in the room, but now I was able to leave them for a few hours.
Like the other day when mum and I went shopping and they were left alone at home. I'd expected to come home to a massive fight, broken bones and bleeding or something, but they'd just been sat on the sofa, watching the football game, shouting only at the tv.
I'm glad that I'm now able to have the 3 most important people in my life, getting along.
Especially now that Eric has asked me to move in with him.
