Hey, guys. I screwed up. The GRU is the Russian foreign intelligence. The SVR is more for domestic cases.
The FSB is sort of like the Russian equivalent of the FBI and/or Secret Service.

The FSB and SVR succeeded the KGB when the Soviet Union fell.
The NKVD was basically the police forces of the Soviet Union.

GRU - Komitet Gosudarstvennoi Bezopanosti

FSB - Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation

NKVD - Narodny komissariat vnutrennikh del (Eng: People's Commissariat of Internal Affairs)

Navy: Why are you talking about them? You should talk about me!

FSB: *talking to SVR in russian*

Navy: What did you say about me?!

SVR: Not everything is about you.

Navy: Hey, you guys speak English! That's cool.

SVR: *speaking in russian*

Navy: What was that? I don't speak russian.

FSB: Exactly.
