Chapter 10

Daniella's POV

I was in forest. But a dreamlike forest. The enchanted tree shimmered with silver and gold. In the middle stood Zach.

What was he doing here? Most importantly what was I doing here. Slowly, Zach approached me.

"Daniella, I have something to tell you"

"Yes, Zach?"

"We're mates."

"What?"

"We're mates," he repeated. "And I think I'm in love with you."

"I love you too Zach" I found my self saying.

Just as our lips were just about to touch, the forest turned into a blur of blood like red and black.

Horrifingly, Zach started to get sucked into an endless black hole.

"Zach!!!!"

I suddenly jolted up awake.

I looked around, still in my room.

Oh good. It was just a dream. Just a dream. Just a creepy little dream.

I glanced at my bedside clock. 2.24am, it read. I better lock my room door as I thought. It was my birthday today. I was finally 17! Why lock the door you ask? Well, my dear brother will come barging in at around 8 will loud and booming music, some of the song shouting really 'colourful' words. Only some not all or my parents would kill him.
