It's been three months since...since....I....um....cheated on Lyla. Sometimes I can't even look at her. I feel that guilty. I don't even talk to Amanda. I refuse to. I haven't even seen Lyla in a couple weeks. I think she knows somethings up. It's Friday and I'm sitting down waiting for her to come over. She texted me about how she thinks we should talk. 'She's gonna break up with me.' I sign to the twins as they wait with me in the living room

'She should! You're a shit boyfriend!' Criss signs

'I agree! I mean god damn dude I can't even believe you did that!' Jace signs

'It was one time!' I signs

'Doesn't matter dip shit!' Jace signs

'Be lucky she doesn't run you over' Criss signs

'Maybe we should break up. I mean obviously we're not meant to be together. I can't even be faithful.' I sign sadly

'Don't give us that shit! If you really love her you won't hurt her anymore than you already have.' Criss signs

'You know who you're really starting to sound like?' Jace asks me

'Who?' I ask him

'Elijah Moriarty.'

'I do not!'

'Yeah you're right. Eli's too good for cheating.'

We see the lamp flicker, indicating someone's at the door. I get up and walk to the door to see Lyla. She looks way tired. She's in jeans and my sweatshirt. Her hair falls down in waves to her waist. She walks in and takes my hand. She drags me up the stairs and into my room. She closes the door behind us and locks it. 'We need to talk.' She signs once she turns to face me

I see tears form in her big, innocent looking eyes. God I should burn in hell for what I've done to her. I feel so horrible. 'Okay.' I sign

'Auggie I am so sorry! I never meant for any of this to happen! This is all my fault!'

'Your fault? What? No! I'm the dumbass! I should have known what was going to happen!'

'Wait you know?'

'Why wouldn't I know? Wait what are you talking about?'

'You know I'm pregnant?'

Oh, shit.... 'Um, no....not what I was talking about at all.....' I sign as I start to suddenly feel very, very dizzy

'Oh,'

'So wait you're pregnant?'

'Yeah.'

'Who's the father?'

That made her slap me. 'This is serious Auggie!'

'I just....I mean...how far along?'

'Almost five months....'

'ARE YOU SERIOUS?'

'I found out the night of that party. It's why I didn't go.'

Okay. Now I feel sick. I sit down on my bed. I don't respond until the room stops spinning. And when I do I just sign 'Why-why didn't you tell me?'

'I was so scared Auggie.'

She walks over to me and lifts up my sweatshirt she's wearing. She shows me this small, yet noticable bump. Oh, fuck. I gasp and put my hands on it. Holy shit. It's real. It's really real. Oh, my god. Oh. My. God. She starts crying and the sweatshirt falls back down. I hug her tight and let her cry. I don't even know how to comfort her. I can't think of anything to say that'll come close to comforting her.
