Chapter Eight Home Sweet Hell Hole

~Four Years Ago~

Xander's POV

I just got out of school. I get into mom's fucked up van and wait for Eli. I sit in the van listening to Trapt. I fix my long brown hair out of my eyes. It's been fifteen minutes! Where the fuck is that little shit? I get out and walk back to the high school. I see his Metallica shirt and his baggy black pans. He's smoking with his friends. I stomp over to him, take the cigarette out of his hand, stomp on it then drag him to the van by his ear. "You're so fucking annoying." I hiss

"Oh, calm down. You're so annoying." He tells me as if it's really gonna hurt me

"We're like twenty minutes late for picking up the others."

"Oh, so what? It's the fourth and fifth grade. No one's gonna care."

I make him run to the van and I drive off. I drive to the elementary school to see Auggie, Criss and Jace waiting with the schools principle. "Fuck." I hiss under my breath

I park and run out of the van. "I am so, so sorry! I know I was late. I promise it'll never happen ever again." I tell the principle

"I'm afraid next time I'll have to call CPS." She informs me

"It'll never happen again I swear!"

I take Criss's hand and we all go to the van. I help them in and I drive off. "How was school?" I ask them

"Auggie says we shouldn't talk to you." Jace tells me

"Why?" I ask him

"Because you were late." Criss says

"So we're not talking to you." Jacefinisheshis twin's sentence

"Oh, come on. I was only-" I'm cut off by Jace

"Half an hour late!" He yells at me

"It wasn't my fault Jason! It was Eli."

"Then you should've left his sorry ass!"

"Jason Alfredo Moriarty! Did you seriously just cuss?"

"Maybe I did, maybe I didn't."

"Who the fuck said you could cuss? Who do you think you are?" Eli yells at him

"I know I'm Jason Moriarty and I know I'm way awesomer than you." Jace tells him

"Do you hear this bitch? Acting as if he's the baddest bitch in town. Psh I should slap you right now."

"No wonder he's cussing at nine! Listen to your disgusting mouth!" I yell at him

"I'm gonna be ten in like two months thank you very much." Jace grumbles

"Shut the fuck up Xander." Eli snaps at me

"Yeah, Xander shut the fuck up!" Jace backs him up

"No one asked you to back me up!" Eli yells at Jace

"Hey here's an idea how 'bout both of you SHUT THE FUCK UP!" Auggie yells at all of us

That's when both of them decided to stop arguing. I pull into our drive way and we get out. I take Criss's hand and help him to the kitchen table where all three of them do their homework. "I'll help you with your homework in a minute. Just let me check on mom okay?" I ask him

He sits down and nods his head as he gets out his homework from his pokemon backpack. I have Auggie and Jace sit beside him. They start doing their homework too. I go up the stairs and into mom's room. She's getting worse. I can't bare to tell my brothers that. She told me they've given her only a couple months to live. I walk into her room to see her throwing up blood. I jump into action and grab a bucket we keep close to her bed. I pull her short brown hair back and help her. Once she finishes she washes her mouth out with water. "How was your day Alexander?" She asks me as if that didn't just happen
