I peer my eyes open slowly, the room looks different, kind of like a study room. It's very large, like a warehouse filled with doctor supplies. I see some medications lying around, I have alittle table beside me with some assortment of pills and needles. Than I notice I'm lying on a stretcher.

I put my hand on my aching head, it hurts so badly that I can hear my heartbeat like I'm pressed against someone's chest.

I moan alittle before turning my body around to a sitting position, my head begins moving around like I can barely hold it up.

My feet begin shuffling towards the door, to my suprise... It's not locked.

I turn the knob, it creeks slowly as the door opens. Slow, steady breaths as I take I walk out, left then right; I turn my head.

I notice a door that leads outside, can this be it? Can I finally be free?

The floor creaks and I squeeze my eyes shut in anger.

From my window the city is a few blocks away, the roads are filled with cars.. So if I can get out of this house I can hopefully make it to the street and get help.

The door is inches away

I take a deep breath as I slowly reach for the knob, I turn it and open it up, I take it all in, the breeze, the sun setting across the water. I'm so close.

I take a step and get ready to close the door-

"Kelsey?" I hear a familiar voice question me.

I turn to see David sitting at the table, alone.

"Where are you going?" He adds

"Oh, I'm just getting some fresh air, I'm feeling alittle sick." I smile.

"Oh, well let's go." He stands up and walks towards me.

I look at him for a moment to make sure he isn't joking.

He puts his hand on my mine which is still on the door knob. I look up at him and pull my hand away.

He shakes his head and looks down; smiling, as he opens the door.

I look at him once more before taking a step outside.

The breeze blows through my hair and I freeze there looking at the sunset. I erase the thought of escaping, I can't do it I know that I will just get myself hurt.

He walks beside me,
"Beautiful isn't it?" He says

I just smile.

"Look over here." He points to a small flower garden.

I walk over and kneel beside them, I haven't seen flowers in forever.

David picks on out and hands it to me.

A gerbra daisy.

"Thank you." I twirl it in my fingers.
