Battle Scars

After thinking for a while I decided to lie.  I know I shouldn't but they'll try to fix this and no one can help me.  So I said the one thing that happens a lot in the city.  I told then I was jumped. 

They had a look on their face I couldn't read. After a few more seconds Ichiro broke the silence saying " Are you okay? Why didn't you tell Kano in class? "

I guess Kano told him about what happend in class. I hurried up and came up with a lie " I didn't want him to make a scene in class." That's believable right?  We'll I'm about to find out. 

Kano looked at me and said  "Okay we believe you but next time can you tell us before we drag you outside during our time to eat." I gave them a big fake smile and said sure. 

After that Ichiro offered to go inside and get us a Burger.  I wasn't about deny a food offer so I said yes.  At the same time Kano said sure.

When Ichiro came back I was starving.  So when he gave me my food I scarfed it down.  Kano and Ichiro where looking at me like I was a two- headed dog.  I just have them a small smile.

They just shook their heads and went back to eating. As soon as they got done the bell rang.  We threw our trash away.  Then we went our separate ways to ours classes.

I was at my locker when Ichiro called my name. 
I waited for him to come up. When he was with me I saw he had Kano with him.

Then Ichiro asked if I wanna go to his house. I thought about if I can take another beating. Then I remember they'll  do it if i'm late or not. So I said sure.

Kano and Ichiro looks happy.  The Ichiro said " We'll let's go then." He then turned around and left.  Me and Kano followed him. After about 30 minutes of walking we where there. 

When we walked into the house the boys went straight to the kitchen. I followed them.  When I stepped into the kitchen Kano asked "Who wants chips and soda?" Me and Ichiro said sure at the same time. 

Then we went to the living room.  There we three beanbags.  Kano took the one on the right while Ichiro took the one in the middle. 

Without even turning around Kano said "Stop standing and come sit in Mitsuro's beanbag.' Without a word I went and sat down.  When I sat down Ichiro handed me a soda and a bag of chips. 

Kano was flipping through the channels when he stopped on a movie.  The movie was terminator.  About forty minutes into the movie the door opened.  Then Mitsuro walked into the living room.

When he walked in he yelled  "Why must people take my favorite place to sit!" I didn't know whether to move or stay. It must of showed how confused I was on my face because Ichiro said "Tatsou you don't have to move." I just nodded.

The Mitsuro said " Don't tell him that. Now I really can't get my seat." He then dramaticly fell on the couch I couldn't help but laugh a little. After I got done laughing Kano said "He is always this dramatic. He just didn't the first time he met you because he want to make a good first impression."

That explains it.  I turned back around to the tv when something hit my head. I turned to look at the object and it was a pillow.  I then looked at the couch. Mitsuro was sending me a fake sweet smile. 

Without even thinking I grabbed the pillow and threw it at him.  Next to me I heard snickering.  I turned to the sound and saw the two boys trying to hold in there laughter.

Next thing I know they both are on the floor with pillows on their faces.  I was then hit down with a pillow. I threw it off and sat up. When I sat all the way up I could already see the boys where up. 

Kano gestured me and Ichiro closer.  He then whispered "On the count of three we chase him." Me and Ichiro just nodded.  When we turned back to Mitsuro I couldn't help but smirk. 

Mitsuro must of caught on because by the time Kano said three he ran up stairs.  We got up and chased after him.  When he got to his room all the way in the back he tried to close it but Ichiro kept it open. 

Kano went into the room and threw Mitsuro over his shoulder.  Mitsuro was yelling for him to put him down while banging on his back.  Kano ignored him and yelled victory over and over again. 

Then we heard a door shut. Mitsuro yelled "Yay moms home and she'll make you put me down!" Kano just laughed and walked downstairs.  Me and Ichiro followed. 

When we got downstairs Naomi turned around and said "Hey Tatsou it's good to see you again and Kano put that boy down before you drop him." I said "It's good to see you to." Kano starts flexing his arm he wasn't holding Mitsuro with and said " I won't drop him I have big muscles."

Naomi looked at him and said "You mean your none exsistent ones." Me and Ichiro busted out laughing. Kano mumbled something as he was putting down Mitsuro.

When Mitsuro touched the ground he said "Finally the ogre put me down." Kano just looked at him with a raised eyebrow.  Mitsuro just wanted put his arms up in surrender . 

Naomi turned my way and asked if I'm staying for dinner. I just replied with a sure.  Then Mitsuro grabbed my hand and dragged me to his room.

He sat on his bed and pat a spot next to him.  I sat down.  He grabbed my arm and pulled up my sleeve.  He then said "When we we're running I saw the scars on your arm. They remind me of a song I've heard.  It looks like you've been in a battle.  So these are battle scars."

I mentally agreed with him. These are my battle scars to show I made it through abusive parents.  He grabbed a phone from a nightstand next to his bed. He showed me the song he was talking about. 

After It finished I couldn't help but think I just found my new favourite song. Then Naomi called us down for dinner.

It was time for me to go home. I said bye to everyone.  Before I got out the door I heard Kano yell "Be careful so you don't get jumped again!" I just yelled back "Can do!"

The whole walk home I sung battle scars to my self.  When I stepped into the house I saw my parents past out on the couch.

I felt relieved because I get no beating tonight.  I went up to my room and layed into my bed and fell fast asleep.
