VEERAS' POV.
I scramble up the slope after Geode.
The luggage he's dragging leaves scuff marks on the tile walk way in to the house.

Then, he gives a big heave.
He trots into the house, and I hurry to catch up.

I take off my shoes quickly, but her disappears.

I manage to catch up.

Geode looks around as he chases after the old woman.

His eyes show pure joy now, not the sullen glint they held at the dorms.

He rips right round a ninety degree turn, and I chase after him.

I hear his charming barks, and speed up.

Using my sock feet, I glide around it.

I see his shining tail slip into a room, and run in after him.

I slide to a halt.

The old women is stroking a very very big, majestic black bear.

A saddle rests behind its' shoulders, and its' eyes are ones of a true predator.

I back up slowly, unsure where Geode is.

The woman chirps, "Little One won't hurt you. Will you boy?"
The bear grunts.

I raise my eyebrows, and Geode comes to my side from behind the bear.

He asks, "What is that thing?"
The woman crows, "Boy, have you never seen a black beer? I need to take yah to work with ma. You'd see a lot more creatures yous never seen before."

Geode nods, tail between his hind legs.

Then, the chief crows, "MARGRET! MAAARRRRGGGGRRREEETT? Are you scaring the poor kids with that bear a yours?"

She crows back, "NO, YAH OLD COOT! WE'S GOING RIDING TO SEE STUFF! "
Silence.

We try not to laugh at the fact that the old couple crowed at each other like people in a care home playing black jack.

Geode whispers, "You can't ride me yet you know that, right?"

I nod.

The old woman, Margret, crows, "PISHPOSH! What have you been feeden im?"

Geode yips, "Pork. Beef. Some one put glass in it, though."

The woman scowls with a dark look.

She sniffs, "No wonder he's teny weenie."
Geode barks, "Hey!"

The woman shuffles into the kitchen, and comes back with a dark purplish red lump that looked a bit like rotten gelitain.

The woman places it in front of Geode, who sniffs it.
The fur around his neck starts to stand on end as he gets closer to the strange object.

He opens his mouth, and bites out a chuck.
He swallows it.
He growls, and pounces on it.
I warn the woman to back up.

She begins to cackle as Geode mauls the jiggling mass.

Soon, nothing is left but a clean plate and a red faced Geode.

He barks, and demands I play the way dogs do.

I find a chew toy, and he clamps onto the rope.

Oh no.

GRRRRAAARRRR. GGGRRRRAARRRR. GRRRR..
Geod is whipping back and forth, his entire body pulling and ripping.
