Hadrian POV

"Noah's here."

I first felt angry then pissed. He knew it would annoy me and I was going to show him how annoying he was. I tried to go towards the way Peter came from but became aware that I was still holding Rhea's hand. She looked at me pleadingly to not go after the sh*thead but I shook my head at her.

"I'll talk to you later," I said running my hands through my hair. People moved out of my way then I saw him standing by the door arguing with Helios.

"Did I not warn you not to come near me?" I asked him neutrally.

He gave me an over confident smile. "You would never touch me."

"Are you sure?" His smile faltered, doubting what he had said for a moment.

"Yep." I grabbed onto his throat, blocking his airways making him struggle for breath.

"Are you still sure?" I hissed venomously. He began pawing at my hand that was crushing his throat. Some of the team around me were telling me to let him go but I took no notice of them.

"You of all people should know better, cousin," I smirked menacingly at him then threw him into my coffee table. The transparent glass shattered and people started screaming. However, I wasn't done with him. I walked up to where Noah lay gasping for air. I picked up a large shard of glass and swiftly brought it down into his abdomen. His eyes bulged in pain as it sunk in.

At this point, girls were fleeing from the party and the guys were trying to control the situation. I saw Rhea staring at me with fear and horror as if I was a monster. Too bad I wasn't because it would justify my actions. She went along with the crowd that was trying to get through the door. I saluted her and as I expected, looked at me in disbelief.

I turned back to the d*ck that was groaning in pain on my floor. Crouching next to him, I picked up a half drunk bottle of beer and a glass of vodka.

"Luckily for you, you won't die. Perks of being an angel. But I'm going to make sure you don't repeat this mistake of coming near me." I poured the remaining liquids on his body the went towards my kitchen to unlock one of my cabinets. I picked up a lighter and brought it next to Noah. He immediately caught fire but couldn't move to stop it.

Seth appeared out of thin air next to me, looking at our cousin's burning body.

"Dad's gonna have to come," he said wistfully.

"I know but it's already done."

"I bet you'll get suspended for a week."

"Two," I countered. Seth shook my hand, grinning then vanished.

I sat down on my sofa watching Noah light up while drinking some coffee. My hangover was going to be a killer and I was in deep sh*t with the school. The room was empty apart from Ryan who warily looked at me.

"You took it a bit far."

I would have said 'with your mom' but knew this wasn't the time. The school's security officers were coming and was expected to burst in at any second.

"If I took it too far, I would have killed him, Ryan. I just...showed him who he was messing with."

"But why?"

Once he had said that, the officers knocked down my door and handcuffed me. The tallest one started trying to put the flames out on Noah's scorched body. Two others held tasers at me while another led my out of my room. On my way out, I winked at Ryan as he watched me being taken away with his mouth open.
