"All right kids, everybody pack up your things! The bell is about to ring, its time to go home!" I yelled to the students. I put my coat on and tied my hair up into a more organized bun. I dusted off my black skirt and faced the class. At age 29 my job was a teacher and right now I was teaching kindergarteners. My class was full of little cute mischievous kids that are adorable, with their innocent looking eyes and chubby cheeks but once you turn your back to them their true selves opens up, little, annoying troublemakers. But that's okay, not all kids are like that. Plus, I liked taking care of kids since I was in middle school or younger. When I was in 6th or 7th grade I started babysitting and I loved it. So I decided to be a kindergarten teacher.

"The kids that ride the bus, follow Mrs. Clark, walkers, follow me." I said, once everybody was ready. I walked outside, followed by a straight line of kindergarteners. The parents came and the kids left, some going together for playdates with an excited expression on their faces while they begged their parents' if they could sleep over. The others left with grumpy faces, because their parents' didn't allow them to have a playdate. Soon Andy (short for Andrea) and I were the only people left.

"Your dad is a little late than usual." I said to Andy after I checked my watch.

"I wonder if he's okay." Andy said worriedly, looking at the street.

"I'm sure he's fine. There might be traffic, it's New York after all. No need to worry." I said, comforting her.

Andy's father was always late but I didn't mind coming home late. Partly because Andy was a sweet and nice girl who was amazingly smart and funny, it was also because her dad, Mr. Jackson, or Percy was insanely hot. I shaked my head to clear out my thoughts. I was starting to think like a love-sick, hormonal teenager. But still, he seemed divorced, since Andy's mom never came to pick her up... Percy was busy with work so he was late everyday. There was nobody at home so Andy couldn't ride the bus. It was a week after September so all the students were new faces and it was a new year. We needed to warm up to each other but Andy and I already got along pretty well.

Andy and I were talking about a new movie that she wanted to see when a red sports car stopped in front of our school building. The door opened, and it was followed by Percy coming out, looking as handsome as ever. I thought he would come over here like he usually did. But he didn't, well he did but he ran to the passenger seat's side and opened the door before. A beautiful curly-haired woman stepped out. She looked familiar, and around my age, 30 or in her late 20's. Andy looked a lot like her... I put two and two together. My dreams crashed. Percy wasn't divorced.

Andy had the woman's blonde hair, but it wasn't as curly as her's. Andy's was more of a wave. She had the woman's full lips and long eyelashes but under them you could see she had Percy's beautiful sea-green eyes. But the grey specks on her eyes were clearly visible. They walked over and Andy quickly noticed them.

"Mommy! You're back already?!" She yelled excitedly. She ran over to them and hugged the woman. The woman had a smile on her stunning face.

"Hey Andy, I missed you so much!" The woman said, kissing her forehead.

"Where's Alex? Is she back from Grandma's house yet?" Andy asked. Alex? Who's that? Percy came back holding something delicately, like it could break any second. I didn't even notice that he left.

"She's right here!" Percy exclaimed. I looked at the little bundle in Percy's arms and noticed that it was a little girl. She looked like she was about 12 months old. She was adorable. She had her father's messy black hair but her mother's curliness. Her eyes were steel-gray but there was specks of ocean blue in them. The baby whined, wanting to get down. Percy gave up and put her carefully on the cement covered ground. She waddled around on her little yellow shoes. Andy started following her around. They laughed and started running around the bushes. The woman smiled fondly at them, while Percy laughed. They walked to where I was.

"Hello, you must be Andy's teacher. I'm her mother, Annabeth Jackson." I sighed when I heard her last name. I was right. She was married to Percy. Wait, Annabeth Jackson? Why does that sound so familiar... I looked at her face again and a surprising though hit me.

"Was your name Annabeth Chase?" She nodded. With a confused expression on her face.

"You're the CEO of Olympia Architecture!" I exclaimed. That was why she looked and sounded so familiar. From magazines and stuff! She was an amazing architect, making her own company at a young age. She was a genius and I respected her, before I knew she was married to Percy. Suddenly a loud girly laugh interrupted my thinking. The little girl was laughing with Andy. I smiled at them. They got along so well together. Annabeth picked the little girl up and tickled her. The baby started giggling uncontrollably.

"Who's the little girl?" I asked curiously.

"Oh, that's my other daughter. Her name's Alexandra but you can call her Alex. Percy answered.

"Hi Alex." I cooed at her. She giggled in response.

"She's so cute." I said truthfully.

"Thank you." Annabeth answered. She put her down and she went back to her sister and started running all over again.

"Why weren't you here to pick Andy up this past week?" I asked her.

"I was on a business trip in California. I just came back today. We picked Alex up from Percy's mom, Sally and yeah... Percy got out of work early so he could pick me up." She answered.

"Oh..." Was my intelligent answer. I was about to open my mouth to ask personal questions, like "How did you get together?"or something like that but before I could Percy looked at the wrist watch on his right wrist and his sea-green eyes widened in panic and surprise.

"Oh shit!" He yelled then quickly covered his mouth. Annabeth glared at him and he apologized meekly.

"It's okay. Just make sure not to do it again. This is a school, after all. Anyways, what's wrong?" I asked.

"We have to get to my mom's house. She wanted us to eat dinner together at 6. It's already 5. And the restaurant that we planned to eat together is at least 45 minutes away. We should probably get going. I didn't notice time flew this fast. Come on, Annabeth. Let's go." He said picking up Alex.

"Okay. Well, bye!" Annabeth said to me. I just silently waved and forced a smile. I looked at them., their backs were turned to me. Percy was holding hands with Alex who managed to get Percy get her on the ground. Annabeth was holding hands with Andy who was skipping happily and smiling at her. She smiled fondly back and bent down to kiss her on the forehead. She stood up again at her full height. Percy took her hand with the hand he wasn't holding with Alex and kissed her on the cheek. I turned around and started walking to the parking lot. I quietly whispered to myself...

"I want a family like that someday."
