I hear the door bell ring while I'm putting on my shoes I then hear Alaric voice yell "Aria your friend is here"
"Coming" I yelled back
I can do this I just keep whispering to myself As I walk downstairs I see Alaric talking to Tyler
"Now I'm trusting you to keep an eye on Aria at this party and make she doesn't come home to late" Alaric says to Tyler
I roll my eyes and try not to giggle at his attempt to act like a caring uncle
"Hey Tyler" I say and as he faces me I see him trailing his eyes from my shoes up to my smirking face "where is everyone" I add
He clears his throat "James and Claire are in the car they sent me in here to get you we better go I don't want them killing each other before the party"
"You guys better behave tonight don't drink and drive" Alaric says I see he going to say more so I cut him off and grab Tyler's hand
"bye uncle Alaric I'll try not to get home to late" I finish saying as I shut the front door and we start walking to the car
"it's nice that he cares so much about you" Tyler says
"Yeah he's protective" as soon as we get to the car he lets go of my hand which I didn't realize I was still holding and opens the passager door for me "thanks" I smile As I get in and He gets in the back seat with James
"Hey you look great" Claire says
"Yeah you look hot new girl" James says from the backseat
"Shut up James and her name is Aria not new girl" Claire's says back to James
I smile at Claire
"Don't you think Aria looks hot Tyler" James says
And then the car is quiet finally Tyler adds
"Yes she looks pretty tonight"
"Where's Michael and Sara" I say to Claire Trying to change the subject
"Sara and Michael are meeting us there"
I then hear music and see cars park in front of a nice house
"We're here" Claire says
"You guys better behave yourselves tonight" Tyler says from the back
"Yes dad" I say with a laugh and then I swear I heard a growl come from the backseat and I freeze but then I realize he can't turn into a werewolf unless it's a full moon so I'm safe
we all get out of the car and make our way inside Claire intertwines are arms "this is going to be fun" she says with excitement in her voice as James opens the door for us and we step in
