I'm a huge fan of Evanescence and their song ~Even in death~ inspired this poem. I don't know what is it about me and dead lovers but I guess I'm weird or sadistic or just both....

Under the dreary night sky,
I sit at the grave where you lie.

Looking up at the full moon night,
I remember how things seemed so right.

You stole my heart,
And pierced it with Cupid's dart.

A glance was all it took,
For our love to take root.

You kissed me and held me close,
And in my heart, you were the one I chose.

I thought that was our Happily-Ever-After,
But all you did was hold my poor soul captor.

I could do nothing when you turned around,
And brutally crushed my heart to the ground.

So I drove a dagger to your chest,
Till your lungs lost all their breath.

I've buried you under the cold earth,
But still you hold my warm, beating heart.

Even if you can't love me anymore,
My love for you shall stay forevermore.

Even in death our love goes on....

Alright this poem is kind of creepy but if you think it deserves a vote then go ahead but I wouldn't blame you if you stopped reading my book... Seriously, I wouldn't...
