Chapter 31

Jess Pov:

"One more push!"

Bobby whispered in my ear.

I was so tired. I couldn't do it anymore.

It was like my lower waist was being ripped apart from the inside out.

It's been thirteen hours and this little sucker isn't out yet.

I groaned loudly.

"I know baby."

Bobby said and kissed my forehead.

"Push Now!"

My doctor said in a high anticipated voice.

I sucked in a huge breathe and pushed as hard as I could.

"Waaaa-waaaaa"

I heard and un-familiar voice. The doctor placed a smallish baby

covered in blood on my stomach.

"It's a boy!"

Bobby said.

I sniffled and then burst into tears.

He was mine.

The doctor wrapped him in a blue blanket and handed him to me.

I sat up bearing through the pain I still felt in my waist.

I took hold of the child and looked into his eyes. He looked up at me and made a sound stretching out his tiny hands gripping some of my hair.

I sniffled.

He was perfect in every way, shape, or form.

"Alexander."

I whispered.

Bobby peaked over my shoulder.

"That's a perfect name for perfect little boy."

I smiled and looked up at him."I love you."

Bobby leaned down and kissed my lips and picked up Alexander.

"My little guy."

He cooed.

Alexander relaxed in Bobby's arms and yawned.

I scoffed.

"I did all the work you little sinker."

Bobby laughed.

He rocked Alexander back and forth.

I lay back in the hospital bed and breathed deeply.

All of a sudden a woman in scrubs covered in blood came rushing into the room.

"We have a code 5. Her name is Gabriella.

She was attacked and her boyfriend.

Both of them are near death and she's pregnant!"

She announced in panic.

I shot up immediately. Bobby stiffened and baby

Alex started to cry.

"What happened?"

I asked sternly.

They all looked at me like I as if I am crazy, which I probably did since I couldn't afford to lose my family .

I just added a new person to it. The nurse pulled back her hair and cleared her throat.

"They were attacked. That's all I know the police are here and everything."

She said in a shaky voice.

My Father came rushing into the room.

"For the love of god!"

I groaned.

He looked worn down and his eyes were blood shot.

He's been crying I know that for sure. But, why was he here? He is supposed to be in the waiting room with the others.

"Jessica it's your mother...."

He said.

Shit.

Baby Alex begain to cry even louder.

I looked at Bobby.

"Times up."

I croaked
