Two days passed and I was heading over to Connor's house hoping nothing bad would happen when I saw Peyton working on his front yard with his dad.

I decided to walk over and say hi and as I was walking he went out of view and came back, except without a shirt. Damn.

I walked up behind him and handed him the hammer he seemed to be looking for.

"Looking for something?"

He turned.

"Sabrina?"

He grabbed the hammer and thanked me. I looked around and back at him. Damn.

"What are you doing over here?"

He grabbed his shirt and wiped his sweaty face.

"Just going to Connors house."

I sighed.

"Oh."

He sighed.

We just stood there for a while and he kept looking at me.

After a few seconds of awkward quietness, he finally says something.

"Well then I guess you better get going then."

"Um... Yeah."

"I would hug you, Sab, but I'm afraid I'd drench you in my sweat."

I laughed. Almost too hard. I hugged him anyways and walked away to Connors house.

~

I finally arrived and as I was about to open the door I looked back and could see Peyton holding a heavy-looking box and taking it inside. Damn.

I walked inside and saw Connor, who looked pretty pissed.

"Hey Connor."

I sighed.

"Shut up."

Back to normal.

"Why are you always so mad at me, Connor?"

He pinned me against the wall. Ouch.

"Why are you always talking to him? Huh?"

"He's my best friend. I talk to him all the time about everything and anything."

His eyes grew. Oh no.

He walked away and came back, punching me in my face. Ouch.

Tears started coming out of my eyes and I couldn't control it. There was a strange mix of blood, tears, and Peyton's sweat on my face.

"Did you tell him about me?"

I panicked and looked at him.

"No." I said, shaking.

"Don't talk to him again!"

"No!"

He turned around and I wish I had never said that.

He punched me, kicked me, and threw me into a closet until I told him I wouldn't talk to Peyton anymore.

"Hey Sabrina?"
