I looked over Ella's shoulder and there was Vlad. WITH THOSE EYES.
"Oh jeez El."
I said.
"Isn't he cute?"
She whispered to me bringing her glass to her lips.
"Uhmm yeah."
I said. Ella giggled.
"Go talk to him."
She said.
"No no. I don't want to."
I said.
Ella was pulled away from me with the guy who had been dancing with her downstairs. She giggled and left with him.
"I'll be back Valentina."
Ella yelled. I smiled at her and began to turn around so I could go downstair but instead I ran into someone.
"Oh, excuse me."
I said awkwardly. I looked up it was Vlad. I tried to walk away from him quickly but as I was past him he grabbed my wrist. I looked up at him.
He let go.
"Umm, I was wondering if you would like to dance with me."
Vlad asked. I smiled and nodded.
"Yeah?"
He said smiling back.
He was very bold now. He took my hand in his and pulled me onto where everyone else was dancing to a slow song. He moved my hands so they would be around his neck and then moved his arms around my waist. Vlad was much taller than me.
"What is your name?"
He asked curiously.
"Valentina."
I said back. Vlad swayed us to the slow music.
"Pretty name."
"Do you like magic and dark stuff like that?"
I asked.
He smiled.
"Not really."
"Why were you in Emerald's then?"
"No reason."
"So you're not into werewolves , and cats, and vampires?"
He laughed.
"Oh you have no idea."
He smirked at me, and the song ended. He took my hand and kissed it gently. I got butterflies and my head started spinning.
"Thank you for the dance Miss Valentina."
When he turned around I swear I saw fangs. I felt like I needed to sit down. I walked over to the couch where I didn't notice Ella was making out with some blonde boy who was now laughing into her neck.
"Who is that guy?"
I asked Ella not even caring about what she and the Blonde boy were doing.
Ella pushed blondie off of her and stared to talk to me.
"I honestly have no clue."
Ella said still trying to push blondie off of her.
They giggled a bit, and i rolled my eyes at them, in a nice way.
"I know I've seen him before."
I said to her.
"Where?"
She asked.
"Richy get off of me."
She said to the blonde boy in a giggle tone.
"But baby girl I love you."
He said trying to kiss her again.
"Ugh, Val, lets go to my room."
Ella said. I followed her to her room and she shut and locked her door.
"Where have you seen Mister Sexy Pants before?"
Ella asked my before she sat on her bed.
I lay down on the bed and looked at her celling which were covered with those glow in the dark star stickers.
"Remember I told about what happened that night?"
"What night?"
She said dropping her head back onto the pillow next to me.
"At the gas station with the candles and the scary guy and the rescuer guy?"
"Yeah?..."
She said.
"I think Vlad was my Knight in shinning armor that night."
Ella sat up quicky.
"OH MA GAWD! Are you serious?"
"Yeep."
I said.
"OH MA GAWD VAL you have to ask him if it was him."
"YEAH RIGHT."
I said back to her.
"Why not?"
I rolled over.
"Because El if it's not him, he'll think I'm crazy."
"Oh gawd Val."
She smiled slyly.
"Oh, no El don't"
I said.
"I'm going to!!!"
Ella ran out of the room and downstairs.
I chased after her.
"Ella! ELLLLLLLLAAA!no!"
I yelled.
After a few minuets of chasing her around the house she came back to me.
"He's not here anymore."
"Oh thank God."
I said.
She smiled.
"I better go home."
I told Ella when I saw the clock said 1:00.
I got into my hair and started driving home, when I realized my cell phone was dead and I didn't have enough gas.
"UgH, Val, haven't you learned anything about going to gas stations late at night."
I thought to myself.
I guess not, because I went to the same gas station as before.
