*soon after Lucas and Maya head out for the afternoon, he takes her out to a movie and lunch at a nice restaurant, later that day at around four they return to the Rooney house, they walk in and find the living room empty*
Maya: well that's strange
Lucas: why?
Maya: there always seems to be someone in here
*Maddie runs in binds at them and heads up the stairs, but she stops halfway and come back down having suddenly twigged that Maya wasn't alone, she does a double take at the sight of Lucas, she just looks at him strangely*
Lucas: uh hi, I'm Lucas, Lucas friar, you must be Maddie
Maddie: uh yeah that's me
Maya: Maddie this is my friend from New York
Lucas: have I been demoted?
*he smiles and the my both chuckle*
Maya: okay he's my boyfriend
Maddie: you have a boyfriend?!
Lucas: I hope she does cuz I happen to be him
Maya: yeah and before you do a Liv and ask, yes we have kissed, no it isn't usually awkward but yes sometimes it can be but his sister has Aspergers too so he knows how it is and how to calm me down if I'm having a bad day, that's why we work so well
Maddie: so how long have you two been together then?
Lucas: 3 years, 2 months and 18 days
Maddie: accurate
Lucas: yeah I remember the date of everything big that's ever happened between us
Maya: he's adorable like that
Maddie: you staying for diner?
Lucas: yeah
Maddie: have fun
Maya: oh yeah joeys looking for a new friend
Lucas: that's the oldest of your brothers right?
Maya: yeah but he's younger than us
Lucas: got it, and parkers the younger one
Maya: yep
Lucas: okay then
Maya: Maddie do you know what's for dinner?
Maddie: not a clue, anyway if anyone needs me then I'll be outside shooting some hoops for a while until dinner
Maya: you're going the wrong way then
Maddie: I'm getting my phone, I'm expecting a call from a jerk I need to scream at
Lucas: have fun
Maddie: trust me I will, revenge will be mine, and Josh will regret the day he even thought about another girl let alone cheated on me, purely because I wouldn't screw his shitty ass
Lucas: wow
Maya: yeah she's got a little bit of pent up fury and a slightly scary temperament
Lucas: sounds quite fun
Maddie: anyway see ya
Maya: tear him to shreds
Maddie: I damn well intend to
