*the next afternoon the doorbell rings*
Mom: girls can you get it
Parker: I got it
*he opens the door to find a blonde girl who looked vaguely familiar to him with a couple of suitcases*
Parker: M...Maya?
Maya: hey baby bro
*he hugs her and she just kinda stands there awkwardly sort of hugging back which confuses him*
Maya: wow you're so big last time I saw you you were what 6?
Parker: yeah
Maya: I missed you
*joey walks down the stairs*
Joey: New York
Maya: I guess that's me
Joey: Liv was Hollywood when she first came back so you're New York until further notice
Maya: okay, where are the girls?
Maddie: here
*maddie walks out kinda dragging Liv, Maya smiles awkwardly*
Maya: uh hi
Maddie: hey how's it going
Maya: umm okay I guess, a little jet lagged but I'm good, how are you guys I missed you loads
*maddie elbows liv*
Liv: uh we're....okay I guess, so why are you back from New York now after all this time
Maya: oh
*maddie elbows Liv harder*
Maddie: Liv
*she almost hisses*
Maya: well I graduated last year and I wanted to come home for a bit before I go to college
Liv: last year?!
Maya: uhh yeah
Maddie: Liv this is the brainy triplet, I'm sports you're drama she's brains
Maya: but you're both really smart too
Liv: not really but it's nice of you to say
*they awkwardly smile at each other*
Maya: hows your knee Maddie? Mom told me you hurt it last time she came to visit
Maddie: it's better now thanks
*she says kinda shortly*
Maya: and congrats on being state champs, I was showing all the kids at school the news clippings about it for months
Maddie: really?
Maya: yeah I told everyone how proud I was to call you my sister
*maddia smiles at Maya and Maya smiles back, Liv begins to get a little jealous and her face starts to fall into a frown until Maya turns to her and she forces the best smile she can on her face which still isn't great*
Maya: and I watched every single episode ever of sing it loud Liv, you were so amazing, you're so talented and I've seen space werewolves like a thousand times
Liv: wow
Maya: and voltage is my absolute favourite show right now, I mean I don't really watch much to but it's still the best
Liv: uh thanks
*felling a little more apprehensive towards Maya than Maddie*
Maya: so uh where am I sleeping?
Maddie: you're sharing with us if that's okay
Maya: oh, I mean only if that's okay with you, it is your room and all
Maddie: it's yours too
*liv stays silent*
Maddie: Liv?
Liv: oh uh whatever
Maya: I don't have a lot of stuff so I won't take up much room I promise
Maddie: maybe Liv can take you shopping
Maya: I would really like that, if you wouldn't mind, if you're too busy then it's fine, I mean with school and being a super famous celebrity I doubt you have time to take me shopping
Liv: uh well I am really busy
*maya's face falls*
Liv: BUT I'll see what I can do
*liv says already regretting it, but Maya looks super happy*
Maddie: do you want some help with you're bags?
Maya: umm yes please
Maddie: Liv?
Liv: ugh fine
*they all grab a bag each and carry them upstairs when they hear a voice calling up the stairs*
Josh: Maddie you here?
Maddie: oh I gotta run, me and josh are going out for an hour cuz he's going away this weekend, I'll see you guys later
Maya: bye
Liv: bye Mads
*maddie runs out of the room and and they follow behind and just catch a glimpse of the before they hear the door shut*
Maya: I thought Maddie's boyfriend's name was Diggie
Liv: it was by she got a new one
Maya: why?
Liv: because he went to Australia now can you quit with the questions!
Maya: I...I'm sorry
*liv leaves muttering under her breath as she does leaving Maya alone in the living room*
